GB drafted Love 3 years ago in the first round. I take it they didn’t realize Rogers would lead them to two #1 seeds and back to back MVP’s. Remember it pissed off Rogers as he wanted weapons.

In NO WAY shape or form will Jerry get rid of his runner up MVP, unless they think Lance is ready.
I think they knew it, but they also knew that you must have a QB to stay in contention.

Move on from Dak and the twitter guy the big mouth Micah...clean the losing culture
Micah is a unicorn.

Getting rid of him would be moronic imo..

But…

If a team is willing to give up the farm for him Dallas should listen.

I’m talking multiple firsts and day 2 picks.

You just can’t find guys like him that have a huge impact on the opposing teams pass game.

And acquire topnotch DT's and LB's.
Ya given Jerry’s and company’s history I don’t expect t much but one can hope. He’s tried but keeps missing and I fear he missed again with smith

You’d think linebacker would be a easier find but he only hit on 1 and he’s turned him into an underweight DLman

And he like the QB does a disappearing act in post season

I admit that Dak had a fantastic year and he turned into a QB that I didn’t think he was capable of.

I felt like McCarthy did a unbelievable job with turning Dak into more than just a empty calorie stat padding QB and he was actually a legit top 5-7 QB this year.

With that said… We can’t get the team right and pay him, Lamb, and Parsons max deals.

So my question to all of you…

Is it time to move on from Dak? Have you seen enough of this current group to know that we can’t build a team around this QB that’s championship caliber?

Some of you are so terrified to move on from Dak.

We just watched Aaron Rodgers leave GB and they still had a QB who is nowhere close to AR’s caliber walk into Dallas and destroy us.

To me there is nothing to look forward to next year until we reach the playoffs.

If you’re the Cowboys you have to seriously consider dumping some of these contracts like Dak, Gallup, and maybe even Tyron Smith and using that money to build a better roster with Trey Lance as your QB or a big move up in the draft for someone like Williams or Maye.

You can’t keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Dak’s had his time and giving him an extension like he just won the Super Bowl is 2 steps in the wrong direction.

The Cowboys have to be more bold and try something different. They can’t just run it back.

As i have said a hundred times, the emperor has no clothes. Dallas will extend him and will be sorry for it. Dak is not a championship caliber qb. He folds in big games and gets confused. He has always demonstrated difficulty in finding the open guy. If they keep him next year, he needs to understand no move to championship round or Super Bowl, you are gone.

that's not happening, we are going TE, because we will cut hindersnott. the rest will be reached. nothing new same old same old crap.
Injured LB in the 2nd, Tall WR who's stiffer than a teen on prom night in the 3rd, and a LB that has no instincts or agility in the 4th!!! Gawdawmighty, Jerry is just so predictiable!!!

I can hear him now: "The TE we took in the 2nd last year wasn't quite ready, so this year we're taking one in the 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

If it were me I would trade Dak. But they aren’t on the forefront of this line of thinking. I realize he has a no trade clause, but he would wave that IMO to a team like the Raiders or NE. Both markets have marketability. You have to think like Dak and Dak’s agent. Leaving Dallas will cost a lot of money in his off the field endorsements etc.

Getting rid of Micah would be the single worst move in the history of sports.

Now this a post from a Dak hater that I can support.
I’m not a Dak hater. I’ve been realistic about what he is all along.

Saying he didn’t improve tremendously this year isn’t realistic.

The problem is he needs a team that the Cowboys can’t provide while paying all these players.

It’s a dead end. Everyone who doesn’t know that by now is delusional.

Trade Dak? Are you crazy, who are we going to get to beat up on bad teams for us? you can't just go out and find a QB like Flacco or Dobbs to beat up on bad teams. I'd be scared to take the chance, we might miss the playoff and then we would not be able to go one and done in them. sheesh..

Also, I wonder if the organization makes it clear they want to move on if Dak would be down for a trade.

If Dallas says they don’t want him no more he would probably want to leave and go get a big contract.

Next year is already looking TOXIC for this team based on what Jerry did with McCarthy.

There has to be a fresh start somewhere or this team will eat itself along with the media and fans.

If these players family members are saying the things they are saying you know it’s coming from the players who are telling them these things.

Dak will be here in 24…you can forget about him not being here..pray he’s only here for 24 and not longer than that..an extension will cripple us

Yes. There is nothing to look forward to in 2024. It’s a wasted year

Not if you can get some good picks
And do what with them? Get 2 to 3 lesser players? Let’s trade Lamb as well and get a couple of TE’s and a WR that might take 3 years to develop while we’re at it!

It’s going to be a toxic toxic year.

Belichick was the guy they needed if they wanted to run it back with the current players.

If you somehow move on from Dak it’s going to give this team a fresh start that it desperately needs right now.

The only problem with it is we don’t have that bridge guy. We don’t have a Love because we never draft QB’s. Maybe we could survive with Lance? Doubtful as all this kid has done is gotten hurt in his career. If your plan is to draft a QB this is the year. You won’t be able to get a Caleb or Maye but you could get Penix. But after watching the NC game he folded like a cheap suit when he got punched in the mouth.

They are not about to pay Lamb and Micah and have some scrub QB.
