Doesn't make either right. But crying about picking guys you have never seen play and only read a small blurb after they were taken to form your opinion is ridiculous. I mean it's hilarious but ridiculous

I see no one crying. Nor do i see anyone boasting they've seen these guys play either.

And yet there is evidence that although you are technically correct about last year and Hitchens, you ignore the times this team has reached and drafted people who have failed.

Now look at your quote by Edmund Burke and apply it to the ones that missed and where does that leave you?

"Two wrongs don't make a right."

Just because the Cowboys have made mistakes in past years does not make it any better that people can't learn from their own mistakes.

If someone does not like a player and thinks the player will fail, then just say it; however, all of this going on and on about where the draft media had a player ranked is just silly. The media rankings are historically very inaccurate, especially in the mid to later rounds. I've seen several posts say were people say they like the player but hate the pick because it was too early based on the media rankings.

Also Free, Scandrick, Hannah, Harris (I know we lost him),Crawford and Church. Looks like we are at least decent to good in the mid to later rounds.

Ya your right like those picks. In the late rounds you want guys that can contribute. Can you find gems. ....yes but they are few and far in between. Plus we have 7th rounders that played last year for us and we haven't even got to UDFA

There there should be no one on this board EVER mentioning Gregory was a projected top ten except for his behavior and use that to support the guy in this discussion...read argument.

I don't get why you seem so bent out of shape about this or seem shocked.

You have to understand that's how people behave on the internet and in life in general.

Then when the player does good they pretend to be there since day 1. Or act as if they were never trashing that player

Socially acceptable behavior on the interwebs is still a work in progress. Academics are still studying the psychology of trolls and the dichotomy of behavior online and irl. Essentially what we are doing is saying that type of intellectual dishonesty is not acceptable.

Questioning the team and their decisions = crying.

TD, you and I have been around long enough that we know this.

I just get tired of the labels of those who ask questions. If your ego is so fragile that someone else's opinion ruins your day, you need to seek a professional.

Well drafting Green and Wilson are an emotional derisive narrative according to you so you get what you get. If you don't like it then don't reduce your takes to emotional spew.

I like the 4th rounder.

It's the third rounder that bothers me. Swing tackle who is injury prone. To backup the starting tackle who is injury prone.

Then again, this is the team that used three second round picks to draft backup tight ends

Chaz Green makes more sense to me than Wilson. He looks like some copycat fetish thing we had with Hitchens repeating himself.

At least Green has a role. Wilson has a well, maybe, possibly, if the right number of players get injured, then he might make the team.

You do realize in your attempt to sound intellectual, you really come across like an imbecile?

I know you like that people pay attention to what you post. So perhaps it might be better to do it so it might be easier to understand.

To you maybe. I don't really care what disdain you spew, booze.

I do find it amusing that you think 'emotional spew' and the use of 'derisive' is an attempt to be intellectual. Speaks of your relative level.

We completely overhauled the defense at all three levels.

But since we didn't draft a mid round RB or a DT that every other team is passing on, this team got worse.

Oh Alex.

We added potential firepower to the defense, no question.

If Jones and Gregory pan out and Hardy's suspension is reduced, we are a lot better.

And no it is not that simple to say that since we denied RB and DT that "every other team passed on" that we are any better.

It is about how we evaluated this team after the season. Apparently, we felt our incumbents at those positions are gold. We obviously are whistling past the graveyard with RB, otherwise we would not have spent the time and effort with the RB prospects. With DT, I think we showed no interest and it has played itself out.

I strongly disagree with this team's ability to judge and evaluate it's talent, especially after a season where they had success.

I have seen it play out before.

And it bit us square in the ***.

You apparently don't.

Oh JBell.

You got me Fuzzy. I think I might just curl into a ball after that one.

We have an audience. That is what you never seem to get in these exchanges. I am not speaking to you to convince you but to demonstrate how you operate to others. You certainly are helping my cause. Go ahead and take a derisive shot at me again; your interwebs bullying routine is so cool.

Wait, so what are suggesting? We take it out back so the kids don't hear?

I am not speaking to you to convince you but to demonstrate how you operate to others.

Why on earth it that so important to you? That is kind of insulting to them if you believe you need to be a minister of information to them so they can figure out what I am all about.

If you have that much of a concern for me or what I post, there is a little button that can help you deal with your insecurity or annoyance with me. It is endorsed by the moderation as a method to deal with your problem. I suggest you take it. Or don't. I don't care.

You certainly are helping my cause.

"Cause"? LOL

What is that? To calm the children who can't think for themselves?

Go ahead and take a derisive shot at me again; your interwebs bullying routine is so cool.

No bullying here, so please drop the victim routine.

I gave you advice earlier, take it if it is such a problem to you . Or moreover quit replying to my posts.
