I guess i just dont understand the philosophy of not drafting a rb with our current stable.

Did you hear or read any of the interviews or what has been written the last couple of days?

The answer is out there (and in here) if you really want the answers.

And thats why you post on this forum and Garrett is doing interviews on ESPN . . . . . .
Umm yeah i never claimed to be an expert however i even hear the "experts" asking the same question. You do the math.

You are making up stories to try and rationalize things. Failing pretty hard at it too.

Not making up anything. It is all out there for anyone to see.

But I see your wingman xwalker came running to your defense with some fabrications. You might want to have a personal discussion to hash all of that out.
Why do you think that I source everything and do not let things stand solely on my word? I find a lot of value in community.

And like I said, you take your credibility very serious here. You find your persona here to be very important. I vowed to respect that.

Complaining about Watkins after being made to look quite foolish last year in the Hitchens threads was a nice touch.

Watkins? What are you talking about? Who is Watkins?

I think you just need to talk it out.

Let's discuss how that makes you feel.

Please, have a seat here on this couch.

It is still warm.

Sounds like new math to me = bad math. The only experts worth listening to are the ones that actually know what they are doing. Anybody can find and "expert" to support an opinion.

If there's anything we've learned over the past 5 or so years, it's that you can trust this team's scouting. They don't hit on everything, because there's always risk of players not developing, but they hit on picks more than your average bear.

Wait, so what are suggesting? We take it out back so the kids don't hear?

Why on earth it that so important to you? That is kind of insulting to them if you believe you need to be a minister of information to them so they can figure out what I am all about.

If you have that much of a concern for me or what I post, there is a little button that can help you deal with your insecurity or annoyance with me. It is endorsed by the moderation as a method to deal with your problem. I suggest you take it. Or don't. I don't care.

"Cause"? LOL

What is that? To calm the children who can't think for themselves?

No bullying here, so please drop the victim routine.

I gave you advice earlier, take it if it is such a problem to you . Or moreover quit replying to my posts.

 I really do not care about my credibility and try to keep things factual so it is not about me.

In these types of things when people start talking on behalf of their adversaries while it is obviously gratuitous and unknowable, it does speak to what the speaker finds important. All your talk about credibility and me wanting to be intellectual speaks to a serious inferiority complex. I make you feel not credible and un-intellectual.

And before you start in with the "you do it too" routine, I am speaking towards specific behaviors while you are thrwoing crap against the wall about my motives in once again speaking to a generalized emotional narrative.

A lot of words.

Again, my couch is available should you need it.

I think they do a solid job of scouting. We trail a lot of other teams on who we are after.

I just think there are times where we lose team perspective, namely knowing what is wrong and how to address it.

We scout like a team that has been winning for years and is a perennial playoff contender.

Ultimately it comes down to the decision makers to take what the scouts bring back and move the information appropriately.

Now it seems we have LB and ST coaches who get indulged the most and that is not how you move forward. It is how you tread water.

That's a matter of opinion, really. If I had to rank the biggest team needs going into this offseason it'd be 1. DL 2. CB/S ...................................3. DT .......................... 4. Swing tackle. 5. RB.

So, based on my view of team needs, it appears they hit a home run in free agency and the draft.

You overestimate your ability to anger people.

So what motivation do you ascribe to someone stealing someone's handle in an effort to discredit them on other boards? Actions speak louder than words.

You missed what apparently the team views as a HUGE need. Backup linebackers.

So don't pat yourself too hard on the back.

Yeah...what was it...I think 9 pro bowlers on this team that have been drafted? Plus, what 23, 24 drafted players? That's good...

Most mid round picks don't work out. Shocking.

Even more shocking? Fans who think their youtube scouting could do a better job picking guys in the 100-150 range than guys whose livelhoods depends on it.

The defense should be better.

However many games he plays.... He is a lot better than anyone we had on the line last year. Gregory has question marks on and off the field, but I fail to see how he won't provide more of a pass rush than Selvie or Spencer.

We have better LBer depth. Lee returns (for however many games). We added a versatile player to the secondary.

Defensively, we are more talented and deeper.

Obviously, the big question is with the running game.

I'd also like to add a returner.

I have no idea how anyone looks at our roster and thinks we are a worse team than last year. Because Murray left? The dude this time last year nobody was talking about as being a franchise piece for us? How quickly we forget...

If so, why on earth are we even discussing Byron Jones to FS?

Because Wilcox would be a better SS than Church? And its about getting our younger and more talented players on the field in their best positions?

That was easy.

The headlines to this thread should be "Do the Cowboys learn from Success?"

When you lose your runningback that got you to a 12-4 season and not replace it with anyone in the draft than your gonna have serious issues.

McFadden, Randle and Dunbar is not going to force 9 people into the box like Murray. Will be seeing a lot of teams playing the pass instead and not respecting our run.

Were you calling Murray an All-Pro running back this time last year?

And I really do hope teams only defend our run with their front 7. That'll be fun.

Stats have shown this over and over. People ignore it. Or say it was Jimmy. Or say it was Bill. Now they say its Garrett. LOL
