I don't doubt it, either. But Sturm was saying himself that he'd assumed it was true but hadn't really confirmed it.

The timing isn't really all that odd, though. They were obviously giving him up until camp here to get himself ready, and he likely couldn't get healthy. I hate to see it, because I liked the guy, but I do feel better about not relying on quite so many small players or players with an injury history at RB. I think Dunbar's going to get some carries this year, but between him and McFadden, I don't know. I think I'd like to see a young guy with some weight and some health on the PS before we're all said and done.

So much for the FAN who predicted a 2000 yard season for Williams I guess it will be with another team if this report is accurate. Lost track of how many here were slobbering over him. lol

I didn't make any predictions about him around here, but I thought we had a very good chance to succeed.
