This isn't the way camp was supposed to start.....Mark me down as Williams having a big role for us this year....Now what?

Mcfadden? Makes me think of Eddie George.....

Dunbar? 3rd down back.....

Randle? .....Just can't see him carrying the majority of the load by himself.

I'm not opposed to bringing in Knowshon Moreno now..........

I cannot find any confirmation anywhere that Williams was released! Help me out. Williams looked great last camp and has had no one tackling him. How did he get hurt?

We have a huge problem at RB. Are we seriously expecting Randle to be Murray 2.0? McFadden has a history of injury. Dunbar isn't that great to me, and I don't think Randle can carry a full season on his shoulders. We definitely will bring someone else in.

Considering many here were selling the notion that we were 'set' at RB and that Ryan Williams, McFadden and Randle will carry the load , it doesn't need to be an original take.

No way can you compare Eddie to DMAC imo...a reliable workhorse back vs an injury riddled bust....come on man....

Murray was labeled as injury prone as well until last year.

The major difference in that correlation is DMAC had 7 years to establish himself and never has. Murray established his "new' label last year in only four seasons.

He was also with Oakland and not the Cowboys. If you're going to argue 4 vs 7 yrs then you have to allow me to argue Dallas vs Oakland.

DMac's last 3 years in Oakland have had running backs significantly outperforming him, so while being a Raider hasn't helped his career it hasn't been the thing holding him back as of late either.

I guess this year will go a long way in proving that one way or the other. It's a calculated risk by the Cowboys for sure.

I will agree with that. Personally if DMAC is the "change" of pace back and Randle emerges as legit RB then all will be fine. If they have to rely on DMAC as the bellcow they will be in trouble...not only at the RB position but the extra pressure Romo will have on his shoulders w/o a legit running game. All we can do is wait a couple more days and see what transpires.

I'm talking about the Eddie George that was done here in Dallas. I'm expecting about the same kind of season out of Mcfadden. 1 and done......
