to those of you who are saying " no " to Holt: don't be too quick to judge just yet.
Rag on T.O. all you want, but don't understimate the loss of production he represents. Remember, The Jerrathor is still shooting for a Superbowl, not just a division banner, and although I'm all for RW becoming the goto guy, and think he will be an excellent receiver, the reality is that other than him, you have Crayton ( very good 3rd/slot receiver, not necessarily a good #2 ), Austin ( potential ), Hurd ( potential ), Stanback ( still has to prove he has potential ) and that's it.
What happens if RW goes down with an injury ?
Holt is an experienced guy who has caught many " key " passes in criticial situations and still has the physical abilities to do what he does best. Now, I will agree that the money needs to be reasonable, but if he's willing to come to Dallas for a cap friendly salary, the Cowboys would be foolish to turn him down. Crayton and Austin will get theirs, so don't worry about that, and, what's more important, instead of relying on them as starters, they would even be more valuable as reserves.
