I'm sure Linehan signing a one-year contract before this season had more to do with Garrett and Marinelli having one more year on their current contracts, than it did "betting on himself".

You can not realistically expect these assistants to not want to take another shot at HC.

The thing with Marrinelli is his age and with Linehart its about is he really still a head coaching material.

Marrinelli might want to finish his coaching with Love..

Why Linehan and Marinelli would want to leave here for the talent drains in Oakland and Tampa Bay escapes me. The Cowboys should make them the league's two highest paid assistants.
