Jerry could have ruined NFL career if he wanted and Zeke knows it. Zeke never had a chance of getting a big payday if Jerry didn’t want him to have it. What is the worse that could happen with Zeke no signing? Dallas wound have no chance at a Super Bowl and it’s not like Jerry hasn’t went through 20+ Years without going.

Uh huh. Leverage made Jerry "want to" hand over millions to Zeke earlier than he wanted to. Leverage, buddy. Leverage.

Seems like he knows what he's talking about.

Can you shed insight onto the discussion that would prove what he said was inaccurate?
He said "no 5 years max"

Its obviously a little late for that, lol and I am sure that Jerry and Co dont care about his opinion. Or any of ours for that matter. With that being said. I would rather have Zeke until he is actually not able to run anymore. 5 or 6 years whats the difference? Its brings down the AAV the more years we have him so why bother saying "no. 5 years max?"

He was commenting on the maximum number of years you can spread out a signing bonus per the CBA, not the length of the contract. Follow the conversation, read the post of mine he was referring to.

You jumped to the wrong conclusion.

I AM right there with ya...but listen, those guys are hard to find. Collins has flex. He can play guard as well. If we let him walk, then that means Fleming is your likely starter. That's not very appealing. Jones I feel still has a 50/50 chance of walking or being traded. He's a luxury at this point.
Some don’t wanna hear it. No matter what the FO does, it sucks for them. It was a smart move. Had we not, who replaces them? Only their pet cat that we won’t draft next year. More complaining.

La’el is not perfect, but another team would make him an instant starter!

yeah that's my issue with Jones too. The guy doesn't get the rock. In my opinion, he is overrated as a tackler. Jourdan Lewis is a much more willing tackler and covers way better. Not too mention has a knack for finding the ball.
Jones was actually fantastic last year in run support. But yeah, more picks would be nice. I think with the pass rush this year we see a lot of ints across the board.

I feel like the DL and the LBs are going to wreak so much havoc we will be top 5 in TO this year. Thats my bold prediction

Where's the thread tracking Zeke's plan status. Is he on the tarmac? I mean it's time for this type of standalone thread...I'd do it but fear being banned to the members only jacket zone.
LOL...it seems that way sometimes nowadays. Close enough?

So instead of reading the message on it's merits you look at the number of posts behind it? Good to know. Seems an easy way to decide if you agree with something. There's one like you on every message board...
* his brand of "casing-liner" is kinda' rough to cotton up to, at first, then, dependent upon a feller's particular mood of the day, on whether or not, you'd deem him to be tolerableo_O ( the dude can blurt out some genuine funny $***,,,20% of the time at bat, don't take it so personal,,, er,,,as it initially appeared, bro)

Williams would be your starter with McGovern at G. That's what I thought the plan was.

Jones just doesn't force turnovers.
Many ignorant fans kept saying this but you never heard the Cowboys say this.
