Gotta love people that just blurt out things. Thanks
La'el gets his money, Zeke gets his money and I'd like to imagine Prescott's cable is being shut off for lack of payment.
Today is a good day.
like Tom Cruise on Oprah lmao...It’s like the Oprah show! You get a big contract! You get a big contract! You all get big contracts!
It feels like a great weight has been lifted. lolbirds are singin, coffee is good, lets get ready to kick some arse now on Sunday.
Rock!COWBOYS!!
That would be under 20/year...
sounds crazy, but your right. It feels like a great weight has been lifted. lol
I believe @Jake has described Jerry Jones position exactly in my opinion. Do you believe (salary cap) money will stop Jones from being Jones? Are you a personal friend of Jerry's?
If not after all these years haven't you learned that he's a great Car salesman with tales galore???
Money talks bud and so far their is none for Dak prior to kick-off....
YepIt feels like a great weight has been lifted. lol
So, assuming the deal is 6 "new years" and thus puts Zeke under contract for 8 years the SB will be spread out over the remaining 2 existing years and the first 3 "new" years. The beauty of this is when you see the details of the contract look at it knowing the last (depending on structure) one to three years are likely "cuttable". So if Zeke gets $18M in 2026 to raise his AAV just pretend it doesn't exist when evaluating whether or not it's a good deal for the team because they can just cut him and never pay it and with (likely) no downside. Thanks
IIRC, you can't prorate signing bonus for more than five years.
Where they can get around this is by having roster bonuses come up on certain years of the deal.
Let’s fight! Three Amigos only.... you, me and Gimme. Just don’t strike my lobes! Not a big fan of cauliflower ears. You guys fight it out!
lmao...I am actually very impressed with how Dallas has managed signing folks. I think most of us thought it was a forgone conclusion that Collins was out the door. Now looks like Zeke is locked up for 6 years. Dak and Amari will be next. Wouldn't be shocked if we manage to keep Byron too.
* I had a "offered plan" of a long walk off a short pier for the ungrateful sob,,, This thread is B.S.Dang it! I had 5-years and $75 million!
Like you?Gotta love people that just blurt out things.
