Per Sportscenter... Joe Horn Released

John Clayton just on ESPN said Horn's been calling around trying to get a job and Dallas has no interest.

I hope he goes on food stamps. Can he get a Lone Star card?

The Falcons paid him 2.5 mil before releasing him. With that amount of coin, he can have a food stampede. Everybody gets fed.

No offense to you, but when was the last time John Clayton had anything accurate to say about the Cowboys?

The man doesn't know the team plays in Texas!

:D You have a point.

I'll take him.

A lot of people didn't expect much from Glenn and he ended up having a couple productive seasons for us.

That scares me. He said we're favored in the NFC.

The difference being Joe Horn is 36 right now.

Terry Glenn was 29.

If we take him we are in more dire straits at WR then I thought.

..than anybody thinks.

I say bring him in and see what he's got. I think he can play if limited in his reps and Dallas allows him to learn the offense.

He's not going to replace anybody right now..but I'd be interested in how he really compares with a guy like our present #2 WR..PC.

PC hasn't really been challenged at all and Horn might give him some pressure to be a better player. I'm always in favor of having somebody pushing you from behind challenging for your spot and Crayton isn't being challenged.

We'll see.

mosley just said he is talking to the dolphins.
I thought he said on Irvin's show he wants to play for a contender?

What are they contending for? 4 wins?

Over his beloved Seahawks?

That's unpossible!

Back to Horn, Schefter reported that teams likely interested in Horn would be Jacksonville and Seattle - both for injury reasons.

Can't believe John Clayton didn't break the news about Seattle first.....

I think he said he wanted to be a bartender.

Form pretender to wanting to be a contender only to end up a bartender. At least his tendering is consistant.

I get the feeling he's just looking for some legal tender.
