He probably can't run the route tree. Instead he's been relegated to a gimmick player. The film don't lie.

He hasn't been developed as a WR. Teams have been too content to let him remain a gimmick type player due to his unusual skills as a runner.
Must have been some locker room stuff going on for Seattle to dump him so soon.

Something aint right here. Why would you give up a 1st, 3rd and 6th plus, sign him to a big contract extension and then trade him away for a conditional pick?

There is more to this story.

the seahawks have drafted very capable WRs in the draft.,they just havent played them yet.

Paul Richardson is a good potential slot receiver and returner, Kevin Norwood is a very smooth consistent WR similar to Terrance Williams. Interesting though.

I'm guessing something happened there. He was reportedly in a twist after he had all of those TDs called back against the Skins and then he didn't get a lot of balls thrown to him in the loss to Dallas. I'll bet somebody said something to the wrong person.

some interesting parallels to our fun and games with Roy Williams

That's a pretty good comparison. Similar trade (as far as draft picks). You have a large contract extension, and then a "give-up" on the player. The Seahawks did win a SB with Harvin, but they would have won without him too.

Honeymoon is over for the Seahawks. San Diego created the wound, we opened it up more, and now they are questioning their very core.

Still a good team but no dynasty here folks...

Yup. I hope they are good enough to still split games with the 49'ers and Cardinals and beat the Eagles. That would help us out drastically in the NFC big picture.

Well, at least the Seahawks didn't trade him to the Giants. For a mid-round draft pick that had to have been at least a little tempting to the Giants who were reported to have some interest in Buffalo WR Mike Williams. But, then, again, when you have WR Ogletree, what more do you really need?:)

Who's girl did he sleep with?

That's supposedly why they got ride of Golden Tate. Or maybe more collateral damage from Cowboys beat down. :D

Well Russell Wilson did get a divorce over the offseason. Hmmmmm?

Guess what Seattle is drafting next

And guess what the Jets are drafting next year? Another QB?:)

Rex Ryan, Michael Vick, Geno Smith, Chris Johnson and now Percy Harvin. Should an interesting 9 more games this year for the Jets and the NY media. Hilarious.
