He's on the same tier as McCarthy as one of the most successful head coaches of the era. He can come in right away and win but he's also old enough that he knows he's not here long. So if he has no issue with Witten being on the staff it works and Witten gets to learn how to be a pro coach from a highly accomplished veteran Head Coach as an example and not Brian bleeping Schottenheimer.

It doesn't get any better than this with Jerry. The only hang up is his kids and the salary.

It's what I'm hoping for.

But I still miss Fat Mike.

PC is a bigger turd than MM. A smiling buffoon with early dementia just what the Cowboys need another brain dead HC.

Carroll or Gruden are the only hires that would make Witten palatable.

We are at the point where we are arguing about "over the hill" antiquated coaches vs coaches who have zero experience at the HC position and that nobody is interviewing other than us.

This is going to end quite crappy either way

I would take Pete over these bums we’ve interviewed any day
