It's not about the overall record, it's about the offense that has been trending down the last two games.

Sure our record is good, but the offense hasn't been stellar the last two games. What was the stat 3 of 24 on 3rd down completions. Yuck.

You're entitled to your opinion as everyone is on this board. I'm in the camp that believes that although we shouldn't panic there's definitely somethings that need to addressed and based on the multitude of comments and articles by sports writers and commentators, I guess I'm not the only one.

If you're a boxer and you're going 10 rounds, winning the first 6 rounds easily and in the 7th you get knocked down and in the 8th you get knocked down twice there's something wrong. You're trainer and coach should really really be concerned.

As always everyone is entitled to their opinions. I'm on let's fix what needs fixing wagon. Have a great and peaceful day

No one is saying they're a flawless team. Every single NFL team needs adjustments every single week.

not yet seen *anyone* say he's not had rough few games. not heard many say if it continues we shouldn't ever ever ever put romo in.

the sides just seem "forced" and in the end both want to win. i'd LOVE to see romo lead us onto victory. but i also understand we can't simply go "wow kid, you had a rough game...sit down."

so i'm in the "lets give it time" camp and not wanting to go change things in a panic. some are inventing reasons to love romo and get him in there that quite honestly are a slap to dak. the rabid dak fans or romo haters are doing the same. its as if for the vast majority of people in here there can be no middle ground and if you're not with me, you're against me.

and that is such a bullcrap way to communicate.

"Playing Dallas now and over the last three weeks is not the same prospect now that it was overy the rest of the season."

He said Dak has not played so abysmally that he needs to be benched, but very concerning was the low accurracy.

He said a huge problem was coaching and scheme and pointed to the low involvement of Dez as evidence of this. Targets to Dez are 2 of 14 in the team's two losses to the Giants.

Thought I would share since these thoughts echo a lot of posters here about limping into the playoffs.

Just one comment about the coaching ( I am not blaming anyone), why aren't they moving the pocket? Earlier in the season we ran a hurry up style of offense that, I think, Dak did well in. Haven't seen that lately.

Well just like Dak can have a bad game, I think the coaches can. It doesn't mean the rest of the season has been garbage or it won't bounce back. Linehan did not call a good game, but I remember a lot more creatovity in earlier games.

Per reports, they were actually simplifying the offense for Dak and were giving him more responsibility. The point being, teams may be keying on his tendencies and learned more about him as the season progresses and making him rely more on his arm.

We will see..

I'm not blaming one or the other as regards the season. Dak has already done way more than expected and so has Linehan. None of this negates the fact Romo, IMO, should already be starting.
