I’ll preface this by saying I agree dak is human and I don’t want him to suffer mentally and feel abused.

But that being said, I am reaching a point with this team where I welcome accountability in any form by any party that may somehow change the trajectory. Dak has been a large part, if not the largest part, of our playoff failures and the sooner we move on from him the sooner there can be a different outcome.

Notice I said a different outcome, not necessarily a better one bc that would imply a better qb is assured…:which it is not…but I like many fans are just ready for a change no matter what it means or how it comes about
having a mom yell at him on IG/X is not accountability.

Dak needs to be taken to the "Parking lot" more often.
Feel sorry for Dak are you guys kidding?????

I don’t feel sorry for anyone who has made 300 million dollars. Sorry not a chance. I don’t play that BS game. You think that turd feels sorry for any of us or whatever hand we’ve been dealt? He doesn’t.

To be clear, my question is not whether or not their criticisms are true/false but the mental impact they may have on Dak and the locker room.

For the "let the family members share their opinions!" crowd...

You all BETTER not ever cry about Micah's podcast ever again.

Discussions like these really single out those that are completely anti-Dak compared to those who try to approach this stuff with a hint of rationality.

Three things I think:

1) I like Peter King. He's knowledgeable, reasonable, and a good guy. A very good journalist.

2) The relatives of players should exercise some discretion. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but they should understand the effects of their actions. I don't blame social media.

3) Dak sucks.

If that's a concern, then no wonder we lose in a tough game.

Applies to Dak and the whole locker room.

Maybe we could use a good shower shank to toughen 'em up some. :)

So Mr Media Peter King doesn't put any of the blame on the media...the biggest purveyors of misinformation and defamatory takes 24/7, 365 days of the year.... Gee there's a shocker!!
He also clearly wants the old days back when only "special" people had media access. Lamenting that anyone has a microphone in 2024 as if he is forced to read any of it.

I've loathed this jerk since the days he predicted Dallas would lose to SF when everybody knew we were going to stomp them in 1993. He was wishcasting rather than making a valid football prediction because he hates the Cowboys. It was obvious back then.

2024 will then serve as a test if there are any actual negative, in-locker room, ramifications for all this social media infighting. If true, real leadership must step forward to squash it. And that leadership must come from more than one person.

When It comes to Tad, I 'm left with , What dee Puck (Hockey Reference) does anyone care what HE says. The Same for Cee Dee's moms, Much ado about B.S.

A friend of mine played for Miami back in the day. Back Home , we gave less than a fleas copulation about what his dad had to say. Ignore these people and they'll Go away.

I hear all of these people online saying , well, I don't want to disrespect Cee Dee's Mama, *** ? She opened her trap, she's fair game. Tad open's his pie hole, it get's filled.

Coitus on all of them !!!!!!

It's all good. Emotions were high and time heals everything. A few weeks ago fans speculated Ceedee didn't like Dak and his silence was confirmation he agreed with his mom. This weekend at the pro bowl he tells the entire world how much Dak means to him, the team and how deadly they are as a tandem.

I only want to hear supportive messages unless I approve and sanction the criticism. Sounds like freedom of a select few.
That's why PC Principal forced Butters to censor out all negativity from Cartmans social media page.

The question I have is does damage the locker room......keep in mind, regardless of what we see in public, Dak is human like the rest of us. It's to imagine this isn't bothering him.

9. I think one of the nuttiest things of the last month is Cowboys players’ kin dogging Dak Prescott. One of the things that stinks about social media—and there are many—is that it gives oxygen to anyone, at any time. Which allows relatives of football players to go on various platforms and tell us why Player X has ruined the team. It’s chum in the water for the media (and I do not blame the media), and before you know it we’ve got a brushfire, or bigger. It’s awful.

Good I hope he retires.

Great point. I'm not any social media site ( other than this sports message board), and the first way I heard about this was because the media was covering it ad nauseum.

Always it’s someone who knows ZERO about the game
Agree 100%. There's actually some of these clowns that think a 2-5 playoff record is a good basis to make its quarterback the highest paid player in football.

As Mike Tyson would say, " I'm Exstatick that we agree on something"!
