Nah, the coaches were just observing what they have for when Tyron comes back. Nothing more in my opinion.

And besides, I think we witnessed McGovern's best game as a pro yesterday. Keep those guys rolling.

He's depth you can pretty much play anywhere.

Guy is a solid backup. He's helping our team, big time, with his ability to flex as a backup.

I'd even consider bringing him back for another year. Then transitioning him to an offensive line coach. I know he's a former Eagle, but he makes for a better Dallas Cowboy. He's been pretty selfless here, and you gotta appreciate that about him. Even if he is an old fart.

Peters is some quality depth right now.
That is his true value.

I assume so with weeks of work. Can’t be easy for a 49 year old to hop into a season without any camp or ramp up.

They were giving him snaps there to get Peters some work, and also practice Tyler at Guard in anticipation of Tyron coming back. If Tyron can come back and be the actual Tyron, for just a playoff run and move Tyler inside…..lookout folks. This thing is going to be tough to defend. Steele and Martin are dominating the right side.
