If Peters has the gas to go a full game I make the switch. If not you wait for Tyron to come back. Either way Tyler moves to OG. Stop talking about stopping his progress. He’s a rookie. Anyone get a chance to really look into his 20 or so snaps from yesterday? At worse, we have real depth at LT.

I think that was more about getting Tyler Smith some work at guard with the return of the elder Smith looming.

I think we might be seeing a transition of the offensive line for the stretch run. Tyler Smith would be an upgrade over McGovern at left guard. And Peters can play left tackle for a week or two until Tyron Smith comes back at left tackle. This team might be getting only stronger.
