Im not one to defend this team but didnt peters play Guard at his last stop? This is the genius assuming a 40 year old Jason Peters can play G.
Just really, really dumb.

Part of me wants Tyler Smith to stay at LT and let the learning curve continue and part of me believes the best combination right now is Smith at LG and Peters at LT.
So guard is harder to play than lt?
I already know to discount anything you post now lol .
He probably could have been, but lt is the harder and more important position so that's where he was.I realize now that Tyron Smith would have been the greatest G to ever play.
You're embarrassing yourself.
Nate Newton says guard is the easiest position on the line to play, but I'm supposed to listen to you? LOLI realize now that Tyron Smith would have been the greatest G to ever play.

Would be surprised if we move our future LT out of position for a 40 year old Peters.
Peters knows his role and will immediately upgrade the LG position.
The entire left side will be improved regardless.
Right and he’s playing great. Tyler is your starting LT going forward. Don’t mess with that. I assume we move on from Tyron in the offseason. I don’t get what ppl are crying about.
Brandon Thorn says otherwise. And he's considered one of the best in OL analysis.
Even other former NFL coaches and players follow and comment on how well he explains OL play.
But he's not on Dallas's staff, watching them in practice, and he's also only concerned with right now, not next year, once they've probably moved on from Peters.
Thats the relevance, positional familiarity and new TS has proven zero reason to be moving out of LT unless he just agrees that he doesn't like it or something crazy...lolBut he's not on Dallas's staff, watching them in practice, and he's also only concerned with right now, not next year, once they've probably moved on from Peters.
It's amazing you can be so sure about something you've never even seen. It may end up being the route they take, but you're just guessing. Peters is a once elite veteran, but presumably not as fast or strong as he once was. Tyler has shown outstanding ability to play LT, and played the position throughout his college career, and was drafted to play the position. You've never seen him play LG in a real game. Peters is currently taking reps at LG in practice.Peters-Tyler-Biadasz-Zack-Steele
All other OL permutations are inferior.
Just put the most superior lineup out there. Stop trying to be cute.
We will see but I doubt that happens, I want to believe that wouldn't happen.Peters-Tyler-Biadasz-Zack-Steele

Peters had pass blocking grade of 77.9 last season.
I'm not just talking out of my ace.
Peters still produces elite pass blocking win rate.
We will see but I doubt that happens, I want to believe that wouldn't happen.
Nearly nothing surprises me any more though.
Peters will be great at guard, like having 2 LTs side by side., dancing in harmony.
Flip that and then you'll be absolutely right.
But as long as Peters is in lineup next to Tyler it's a win.
