Watching these guys the last 2 nights shows what great QBs do to keep there team in every game.

Romo has a ways to go. He is good not great.

Romo has had many late game drives so i don't know what you're talking about there.

Peyton and Brees are in a different league though, Romo is as good as he's gonna get right now. Dude's 30 not 24.

He is good enough to win a superbowl though. The problem is he cant carry this team on his arm. We have to help him with running the ball. If we can run the ball effectively we could have anyone back there throwing to our recieving core.

You mean like Romo did last week against Washington???

He did all a QB could. He put the ball in the WRs hands in the end zone for a TD to win the game. Anyone thinking he could do more is an idiot.

Right now Brees and P Manning are clearly the best QBs in the NFL. Next comes Brady and Rodgers and Rivers. Then Romo and the rest.

I'd agree with those top two, but I think the next group includes Romo as well.

I agree but Romo is only in his 4th full year as a starter while the other two have been starting QBs for much longer. Compare him to Peyton circa 2003 and Brees circa his last year in SD

Romo stopped trying to do what made him special in the first place and that's buy time.

He still plays at a high level consistently but I'd like to see the playmaker QB we force the situation and make some plays.

Romo isn't near Brees level...

Not many are (Manning, Brady pre-08). Very exclusive club. No point on hating Romo for not being Brees or Manning...

That's my thought. If you can't win with a top 5 QB, your team just isn't good enough. If you put Romo on that Saints team, they'd still win a lot of games. If you put Brees on this Cowboys team, I'm not sure if he'd make it through one week.

I love watching them QB.
They are always so in control and you never sense panic from them.

No, Romo is not in their league, but hes not bad himself.

We need to have a Romo-friendly offense. Jerry got one part down surrounding him with a bunch of weapons. Now we need the offensive system to help him.

They had the benefit of four turnovers and they still had to drive down at the end of the game to win it. That's not something for an offense to hang its hat on.

Romo needs to take more shots down the field.

I like that he's made protecting the football a priority, but this offense cannot string long drives together.

We need big plays and we have the personnel to do it. Right now the formula for beating us is "bend, don't break" because we'll eventually shoot ourselves in the foot. Either via penalty or bad playcall.

Again, he bought enough time on what would have been the game-winner in WAS last week.

i'm pretty sure if Romo had Sean Peyton, Brees would not even be relevant right now...
