They said the Cowboys OLwas the best in the league.

Their ratings have never been Romo-Friendly.

McClain has clearly been our best defensive lineman.

We need someone behind T. Crawford pushing for his spot. He's had no competition for years. I think Irving should be the backup 3-tech and challenge T. Craw until Collins shows he's ready.

They're not perfect, but they're the only service of the kind right now. I think the information is valuable, personally, and generally find myself agreeing with their player grades.

WR and DBs can be hard to watch on the telecast but you don't need PFF to tell how OL and DL play. I'm a big fan of looking myself.

And there are people on this forum that have thoughts of Super Bowl? Trust me....I want this team to win the Super Bowl every year. But so does every other team/fanbase when it comes to their team. I am a die hard Cowboy fan...and I was embarrassed yesterday because too often I found myself asking my buddies "who is # so an so"? I will watch every week...cheering these guys on. But it is scary how one of the NFLs marquee teams...find themselves in this state...when it comes to the DL. And you can almost say the same about LBer as well. The personnel of this front 7 is nightmarish.

It's one thing to not expect it but have you watched other teams play? The NFL is not what it once was. You can tell they don't practice as much as they used to.

You have a group of players that are trying to overcome that offensive coaching.

The offense is good. It's a very talented group. But they aren't being used to the best of their abilities.

It was pretty shocking to see Witten rolling in space yesterday so we made a bit of progress yesterday with the playaction boot legs. Baby steps with this staff.

Average: David Irving (48 snaps)
Below Average: Terrell McClain (76 snaps)
Poor: (in order, least poor to worst)
Cedric Thornton (46 snaps)
Benson Mayowa (79 snaps)
Jack Crawford (84 snaps)
Maliek Collins (54 snaps)
Tyrone Crawford (84 snaps)

#perspective. There were times 4 DT where on field together in passing situation. Things won't look right until Tank gets back and they shake out the other DE spot.

If you're willing and able to put in that time, I think that's great. I prefer to watch the game as a fan, myself.

I think anyway you slice it, the unit has been bad and nobody in particular has looked good. It's not just about the pass rush, either. We gave up 4.8 yards per tote yesterday. I think it was slightly better against the Giants, but we were blown off the ball when it mattered down the stretch.

Many of us knew the DE position was set up to be bad. But the DT position, and Tyrone Crawford in particular, underachieving as much as they have has been insult to injury.

Hopefully, the group is a work in progress and can show improvement.

I am not a fan of the DL talent currently on team and have said if often enough, but there is no way that the Crawford brothers are playing more poorly than Thornton, Mayowa and Collins. They are not playing well, but neither of the Crawfords deserve to be at the bottom of that putrid totem pole.

And you forgot Wilber.
