Wrong.

Dak led the Cowboys to a blowout victory in Week 2 against the at-the-time 1-0 NY Jets. Pretty much destroys this "played 2 teams with winning records. Lost both" false narrative.
They don't have a winning record now, so it doesn't count, I guess. We have to wait until the end of the season to really find out if we played anyone good. If we beat the Seahawks next Thursday and they end up with a losing record, obviously they weren't any good.

That's not how it's supposed to work. If you label a team as not being an at or above .500 opponent, it's supposed to mean what was their record when you played them, not at the end of the season.

Nah, end of the season is a better judge.
However, we're not at the end of the season, so at this point in time you can only go by what it is now.
You certainly don't refer to the Jets as a .500+ opponent because they were 1-0 at the time. You look at what they are at the end of the season, and if you're not there yet, you look at where they are at this moment.

The Cowboys have played 2 teams with winning records. Lost both. That isn't moving anything just cold hard facts. Additional fact, one of those teams beat the Cowboys for the 3rd time in 3 years.

Single highest grade by a QB since 2007? Yay us. (For the record he missed throws high as usual)

Now stop eating turkey legs and go win us a game beyond the wild card round.
He’s playing well NOW. Will it continue I sure hope so has it in the past in the playoffs no it hasn’t. Again he’s playing well now against the teams on the current schedule. If they lost those same folks would be blasting him. It’s moving the goalposts when they don’t give credit when credit is deserved.

Nope. Wrong.

When someone says, "Well, the Cowboys haven't beat a .500+ team." It's referring to what was the record of their opponent at the time they played, NOT AT THE END OF THE SEASON.

Anyone who says it's about what the opponent's record is at the end of the season is outright being dishonest.

Wow. You should notify the media. This is some hard hitting stuff that refutes everything they're saying.

This grade for Dak is an indictment of PFF.

I don't even think this was Dak's best game much less every other QB in the last 16 years.

PFF is a bogus outfit.

In order to believe PPF, they would have to have the same person grading every player on every play for the last 16 years.

Once more than one person does the grading then the results are tainted by personal bias.

I'm not even talking about liking one team over another. I'm talking about how we each perceive information.

PFF would also have to have inside information as to what was expected of every player, on every play for the last 16 years.

Dak is playing well, we all see it and we don't need Chris Collingsworth's Cash Cow to inform us of the obvious.

I love it! Keep wracking up wins and stats.

But if we don't win in the postseason, this ends up being just one more year of frustration. For me, that frustration is cumulative.

:omg: We have us a QB!

:starspin:

Oh AC, Todd France is going to ask for a stake in the franchise. :omg: Proud of Dak. He actually is going out there and backing up his play with numbers and he does not have the best talent around him like some other quarterbacks.

Exactly!! But the Goalpost Shifting goons have so polluted the "QB vs Winning Teams stat" to Hate on Prescott.

Sports and Fitness Digest have kept this Record. They always update at the end of the Season which is best way to keep track of these Stats.

DaK Can go 17-0 throw for 700 yards and 8 TDs a game and none of it matters if he can’t beat a good team in post season AND
right now as it stands he can’t beat a good team in post season .

Prove us all wrong Dak.

Totally backwards. 100%.

If Wash goes on a winning streak, then in a few weeks you'll be counting them in the teams Dallas beat with a winning record. And rightfully so.

Going by the time you play them (unless it's at the time you played thrm) is just intellectually stupid.

Funny, as his play improves (as well as the play of the running backs), the health of the offensive line improves. It’s almost as if it were the ultimate team game.
Exactly. Great observation. Also throw in the play calling all of a sudden looks better. Hmm….
