* I am only including players who played at least half the snaps. So, there were role players who did score very well including Dante Fowler (92.8) and Israel Mukuamu(76.5) but they only played 21 snaps. ...as compared to Diggs and Brown who played all 69 snaps.
* I am again disappointed at how PFF continues to score the CB position. Diggs (58.2) and Brown (60.5) gave up next to nothing and held Jamar Chase to 1 catch for 5 yards. The grades still don't line up with what we see on the field. I mean Awuzie scored a 65.7. Does anyone think he had a better game than Diggs?

Those PFF guys truly don't know how to judge the Oline. They pick favorites and pump them up, but they also are quick to wrongly judge others. Sad thing is many viewers, who don't know (or understand) better, actually fall for their bad judgment.
In this video, it shows how good Farniok actually performed. Farniok is dominant in run blocking. Too bad the video creator never truly mentioned that. There are some explanations on the Oline blocks that the video creator gets wrong, but it's understandable since he clearly never played on the Oline. Overall, Farniok played way much better than he is being given credit for. The film doesn't lie...
If there is one area where Farniok struggled a few times, it was on pass protection. A few times, he either leaned forward too much, thus enabling the opposing big DT to grab Farniok's jersey and pull his upper body down, thus throwing Farniok off balance leaning forward and allowing the DT to grab, pull down and swim past him...or he stood up too tall one 1 or 2 pass protection plays, thus 1 time where the DT drove him back within feet of Cooper Rush. Still, those plays were but a handful of times he got beat. A majority of the time, Farniok did well and improved from Week 1. Remember, both games Farniok was going against Defenses that both reached at least the playoffs conference championship games and one even reached the Super Bowl. These past 2 opposing Defenses are among the league's best, so big kudos to our young and inexperienced Left Guard and Left Tackle for improving each game.
No matter what nerds say on the internet, the Cowboys see how good out 2 young prospects on the left side of our Oline are performing. Expect them to remain our starters on the left side moving forward, and watch how they only are going to keep getting better and better. I've been super hard on Oline Coach Joe Philbin, but he and his assistants are finally doing a very good job building up our Oline with the right young players in place. If they stay healthy, expect this current 5 starting Olinemen to remain our starters and keep getting better and better each week as the season moves along.
