If you want a pulse of what a Stephen jones decision is, here we go.

No clue whether or not he’s a moron, as anticipated, or going to be very good at this. Only thing fans can do is wait and see what the future holds. There isn’t a single thing anyone of us can do about it and it is what it is.

If the GM says that, fire him. If you don't know football, I can see why you say that. But, if you know football, then why wait for a GM? So that idiots can call you out for missing out on certain coaches?
because the role of a gm is to take part in important decisions with the franchise lol. it's just backwards and silly. missing out on a coach is also bad, but just an extension of not already having the front office structure in place.

Not disputing not, but the owner signs the paychecks....if he's comfortable with his knowledge, hire the HC and don't miss out on the one you want, because you waited for a GM.

So Kellen at HC, Shott at OC, Salah at DC?

Jerry interviews his coordinator targets is my guess.

Look I'm not agreeing with what Jerry said or how he set this structure up,

but I can tell you this what people are trying to tell you is this is just how it is and Jerry's been trying to tell you if he hires A GM and doesn't like what's going on or doesn't agree he's going to countermand him anyway, he's going to go over his head and do what he wants anyway... he's the owner that is what owners do ,and it wouldn't be the first time owners and GM's clash, the GM loses his job, and you keep going through this process... Jerry decided he didn't want to go through that process and just cut out the middleman good bad or indifferent, no one's agreeing with him but this is just the way it is....

But once again,

let me just add a little counterpoint to everyone thinking we need A GM because it will solve all our issues....

there are teams out there that are far worse than the Dallas Cowboys over the last couple decades and have not gotten better the Cleveland Browns will be a good example they haven't even won a division since 1989 why don't you go count up how many owners G miss and quarterbacks save changed just in the last 10 to 12 years and then let me know how that works out for them just firing and changing people and having a buffer with A GM does not guarantee success...

When we look at the regular season and yes I know that's a sticking point here ,we're not talking about the post season, but getting to the postseason, winning divisions, the Dallas Cowboys have been a top ten team for more than a decade. they've been a top 6 in regular season win percentage.. they're winning divisions .are getting to the playoffs. they've been in the playoffs 5 at the last eight years. that's better than a whole lot of teams underneath them that have normal structures that you're asking for... I think Jerry sees it that way, again I'm not agreeing with him, I'd rather have a stronger football type in between Jerry and the head coach but we've seen that and it doesn't work it hasn't worked for the Jaguars The Jets the Raiders the Browns but really if Jerry is finding a way the way he does it to get to the playoffs more often than say 20 teams below him then this is why he's saying he doesn't believe in the standard structure.

I am not agreeing with him,

I'm just trying to tell you this is the operation of his mind but when you look around including the decision to hire Mike McCarthy in 2020 it literally was the most successful hire it was the best coaching hire of 2020 it's not even close but everyone ridiculed Jerry for hiring Mike McCarthy and since we're talking about the disdain for some of these interviews this is what we heard about Mike McCarthy but Mike McCarthy turned out to be the best hire so out of the six teams like we're in right now but back in 2020 Jerry did hire the best guy.

I know that's not gonna go too far with the people who hate Jerry are blinded with hate to admit that they were wrong in 2020 when they said Mike McCarthy they could've got a better guy well then go look at the other five teams who chose someone different and they were all worse far worse...

Seriously F Jerry & Stephen & this whole organization. It’s hard enough for me & my kids to be Cowboys fans in the Philly area, it ain’t worth it for this group of dickbags.
