It's funny, If you like(d) and support both QB's but weren't afraid to point out mistakes or failings in their games, one side would label you a hater while the other would label you a lover, only to have the other side do the same when you talk well or poorly about the other QB.
There seems to be groups on both sides that can't stand the notion of supporting a qb while pointing out things they need to work on. If you criticize Dak in any way, you must be a Romosexual. If you criticized Romo at all, you were a hater. If you support Dak in any way, you're a Dak-lover who makes nothing but excuses for him.
It's getting so ridiculous. In fact, I think from now on, I might just start completely discounting what people who use those terms say and put them on ignore since they clearly have no concept of looking at things realistically and can only see things in terms of us and them.
I liked Romo. I supported him, but when he made critical errors, I pointed them out. I saw that he was constantly working on his game and was sad to see him go but I knew that it was time. I like Dak and support him, but am concerned about several things. He keeps showing flashes of potential and will never be the type of QB that Romo is. He plays a different game. That's neither good nor bad. It's different. There is more than one way to QB a team and achieve success. Time will tell if Dak overcomes those concerns, but he is not helped by Linehan's basic playbook. Is the playbook the only problem? Of course not, but it's been a problem since before Dak was QB.
So if you don't like the fact that someone liked Romo and likes Dak. Go suck an egg. If you wanna label someone a Romosexual or Dak-lover, then I'll know you're a moron who lets hatred blind them rather than someone who likes to take a look at things realistically.
Instead of childish labels and name-calling, try being an adult for once in your life and realize that different people have different opinions about the game. Grow the hell up.
