News: PFT: Dak Prescott nearly set NFL record, and no one noticed

Yeah because you have mouth breathers on here wanting to start Cooper Rush and saying how bad can a QB be regarding Dak. They have their mind made up about Dak and will continue to fire off their ammo for their agenda. I love seeing them grasp at any straws they can after Dak keeps racking up the wins to salvage this season.
what do you breathe with? your gills?

The only thing that makes this interesting is that despite what Dak has done over the last 6 weeks; the media has been creating a narrative Dak sucks. Great numbers and clutch performances and all the media focuses on is what Dak didnt do well. Dak is literally the only QB in the NFL that has missed a wide open WR this season.....according to the media. Of course we do have some weak minded Cowboys fans that fall for the propaganda that was meant for them.

Buck and Aikman were feeding into that narrative as well. Did you notice on one of the long completions to Cooper, Buck exclaims "that's all on Cooper" even though the pass hit him perfectly in stride? If Wentz had thrown that ball, I bet he's saying that's a perfect throw by Wentz.

“Just a whole lot more comfortable,” Prescott said. “It’s as simple as that. Trusting everything that I am seeing. If I see it, I like it, letting it rip, not hesitating on anything. That is something I put in my head earlier in the season when I realized I wasn’t as comfortable as I wanted to be. Just trying to get back to that. It started in practice.”

That is what I want to see, it does not happen by accident it starts in practice. Dak had some poor throws none more poorly than the over throw of Gallup and of course his 2 fumbles. Those things can't be overlooked but when he was put in the situation of having to air it out he did so and a very good clip. Dak is not some idiot or gimp he is capable of improving and as long as he continues to work and focus on improving himself as a QB he gives himself a chance for success.

Everything about Prescott is exactly what his supporters said. The issues with Dak, along with being young, was that he simply wasn't comfortable throwing to the punks he had to work with. Or comfortable behind an Oline that has decayed. Get him at least one great option like most QB's have and some improved Oline play and he will play much better. Results are obvious.

And we also told his detractors about his attitude and work ethic. The kid would work to improve what he needs to improve.

Rivers game on Thursday was near identical. His first half was aweful. Sailing passes, two picks, one in the endzone. Then he came back late and won the game for them with pinpoint passes and clutch play. Yet you don't hear anything about the first half from anyone. He gots a pass.

There's this weird rift right now with the new QB. It goes as follows. 1) Dak is Jesus. 2) Dak has potential 3) Dak is trash

The CZ cannot discern between the latter, because sometimes those of us at 2, slide to 1. Honestly, it's fair. We slide there because Dak slides between all 3 positions, and we're still trying to figure out 100% who this kid is. The criticism is warranted. He's a year 3 starter, and he plays for the Cowboys. If you think this didn't happen to Romo, google Tony Romo Meme.

I hope Dak is Jesus. He seems like a good kid. Even though he winks a lot. I hate winkers, but I still love Dak. Go COWBOYS!!!

C'mon, man . . . what's wrong with winking? It's a friendly thing. You didn't know that? ;)

Besides, this board fluctuates with each and every game that our guys have.

Do good and we're angels. Do poorly and it's little a bit of hell.

That's been how we roll at CZ for like, forever!

Prescott had a good 4th quarter....

Even I gave him props for that win, Dak came through in the 4th

Lol I dunno, man. Perhaps it's because I associate it with an elderly thing, so when kids do it, it just seems cocky, and strange. I get that is totally on me. Haha
