My bad...but I read their website sometimes and they normally have sources that are reliable. Its PFW that offers the outlandish opinions about teams. Like Parcells will be next coach of the Giants or Jerry will hire hire Landry as his next GM. Just crazy but I apologize for believing PFT because we all know they can be just as wrong as PFW.

I still hold to my previous thread that we will not make any major FA signings. So at this point, I am sceptical about this. If we do happen to sign one of these guys, I will eat my crow.
 
Hopefully if we sign steinbach, he will stay out of trouble. Also hopefully the criminals in his current locker room havent rubbed off on him.
 
Steinbach had a few bears on a boat- he was NOT at the wheel. That was all.
Should not have gone any farther then that but someone was killed in an incident on the same day and he got reeled in. Nothing else has ever happened to him so thats not a problem. He has been a VERY good guard and the only reason he has not made the probowl is that some have bigger reputations- not that they are better guards.

I would agree with that, too. I really hope they do get one of those two guards.

Then, all we need to do is sign Columbo to a reasonable deal and we're set.

I think Columbo is only going to get better and I love his fighters mentality and the fact that he's the "meanest" OL that we have.

Hey no prob at all. There's plenty of reason for confusion between PFT and PFW, but it's usually PFT (Florio) who does the outlandish and completely unsubstaniated stuff.

....and least I think so. :confused: ;)

Maybe that's why Jerry isn't at the combine yet... because he's trying to solidify the agreement with Steinbach.:pray2:

Quiet phone calls to agents - kind of hard to prove tampering.
Lets face it: there is no way that guys can be signed the first part of the first day without some serious talks for days or even weeks prior.

Yep. The NFL has to know it is happening. They probably just don't mess with it unless someone does something really obvious (and stupid).
