PFT: Favre Considering Comeback, per Mort

We can agree to disagree on this one.

I think McCarthy is one of the coaches that TRULY runs his team.

I'm sure he has plenty of input but you'll never convince me he has final say over the GM. Name me a coach that does.

I absolutely believe that McCarthy WOULD tell the GM and the Owner that he does not want Favre if he in fact does not want him.

IMO its his call.

Sucks to be Rodgers,im playing,no im retiring,no im playing,no....*** fav-re

and I believe that McCarthy would tell Ted Thompson and the President (Packers have no Single Owner) he wanted him back if he in fact did want him back and in the end, Ted Thompson would make the final decision. And I would think that TT more than MM wants Favre gone. There is a general belief among Packerland that TT and FAvre have issues between them but put the best face on possible.

Any Packer fan that thinks Rodgers is going to step right in a do as well as Favre is delusional. They are basing their beliefs on his play against Dallas. Favre was a main reason the Packers won 13 games last year. A Rodgers led team will not win that many games again this year....

Exactly so keep favre off the field so u guys can go back to .500 ball.

ESPN just reported that Favre was reached at his home in Mississippi and said that it is nothing but a rumor. There is nothing to it.

Ya. cause he's such a straight shooter:D

If he goes back Larry Allen may be a 1st ballot Hall of Famer after all.

I'd welcome Brett back for that reason alone. It woul dpiss me off to no end to see Larry Allen screwed.

Come on, we both know that Strahan is coming back sometime. If the Giants get to the playoffs you'll see a gap-toothed grin on their D-line.

he still needs win at texas stadium, this is his last year to do it ... lol

Being I am not Packers fan, he can retire, unretire, retire again and repeat until his is 50 and I will not care one bit.

Move over Sugar Ray Leonard and Michael Jordan, Favre is unretiring ....

If the rumor is true, the Packers should offer Bret and a low round draft pick to the Dolphins for Jason Taylor. Big Bill gets a veteran QB and gets rid of a headache at the same time:D

Is it really a "come back" when you haven't missed a game?
