PFT: La'el Collins out of camp with a personal issue

I don’t know the personal issues that Collins had but when the Cowboys gave him that big extension he supposed to be our best offensive lineman by now. Very disappointing in the way Collins played the last two seasons. Can’t trust the guy on and off the field.

I miss work because I had a family member in the hospital. I've missed work because I had a sick kid at home. I've missed work because I had a family member die. I've missed work because a friend of mine died. I miss work because one of my best friends, mother passed. I've missed work because one of my best friends, brothers died.

So none of you guys have never had a personal reason for missing work?
The problem is it’s always something with Collins. There’s an undeniable trend.

the current coaching staff found him completely unreliable, justifiably since he missed 21 of the first 22 games they were here. I kind of get his release although dumb and dumber completely telegraphed his departure so they got zilch for him.

I still can't comprehend the Amari Cooper situation. He's now like the 11th highest paid WR in the league, so they failed to read where the market was trending (no surprise!), they got next to nothing for a still productive threat, he's 28 years old, and they essentially failed to deal with that replacement wise. And Jed Clampett can talk about "availability" all he wants but Cooper played in 56 of a possible 58 games for the Cowboys.

Where are all the fans that said we were 'dumb' for letting him go. How could front office be so dumb?

There could be a multitude of reasons why La'el is absent -- none of which I really care about at this point!
It is whatever it is! Glad he's not our problem to deal with any longer. Looks like we were lucky on this deal.

Yeah we lucked out with a backup starting at RT.

Looks like you're unwittingly correct, sir. But so easily we'd yet have been stuck with his BS yet again. Let's see if he recovers.

As far as Terence Steele is concerned, that's another story for another time. Stuff happens all the time, some good, some bad. o_O

Not sure why you're saying "we." Everyone here knows you're not a Cowboys' fan. Spread discontent somewhere else, if you will.
