Here's what an actual lawyer said about this:

"Marriott argues that it doesn’t own the Phoenix hotel at which Irvin engaged in some type of alleged wrongdoing, prompting a complaint to NFL Network and, in turn, Irvin’s removal from Super Bowl-week programming. Instead, Marriott says it only “leases its brand” to the owner of the property.

That may not matter. The hotel is a Marriott location. It’s hard to imagine Marriott avoiding responsibility based on the technical legal relationship between the corporation and the actual owner/operator of the hotel, especially if the hotel identifies itself as a Marriott property."
We have yet to hear if the hotel even made a complaint to NFLN.

There is a bit of a fuzzy timeline. This happens on Sunday night and he's moved Monday morning yet he is still in AZ when that call into the radio show occurs. What was NFLN doing during those 48 hours?

It is possible that Irvin's call into that radio show prompted them to send him back to Dallas.

Yep
It’s all incriminating on Irvin. Throw in his history of sexual abuse. And it doesn’t look good for him.
Um.. what history of sexual abuse? Pretty much any time women have leveled such accusations at him they have been found to be completely false. Was there one that stuck and got him thrown in jail? He painted that target on himself during his "party all the time" days back in the 90's but at no time has it ever been shown that he sexually assaulted anyone to my knowledge. Do you know different? If so please link the story.

So, you don’t believe any of the sexual abuse accusations because the charges were dismissed?

One was actually settled out of court and another if I recall correctly he settled on the drug possession charges which landed him a NFL suspension.

Settling is what lawyers always want you to do; you do realize that.

They do not care about the validity of the charge.

Basically you are saying if you settle then you are guilty.

Kind of stupid.

She may not be lying but if we are just going to convict people all over on accusations then we dont need a legal system. Maybe it starts with your neighbor, he seems nice enough but really he cant stand you cut your grass to short and your suspended from work for harrasing him, your employer looks you dead in the eye and says "Why would he lie, whats his angle" your not going to go "Well i dont know so it must be true"
A private employer doesn't need a standard of "convicting" you; they only need to have you be seen as an embarrassment of some kind and they can let you go if they wish. Public figures only have that standard magnified when it comes to how they reflect on their employer. The only court in the corporate world is the one that protects their dollars. In other words, their court.

Marriotts needs to pay the point! It's obvious lies were told against Michael that cost him his job and endorsements!
LOL, what endorsements has he lost? He hasn't lost his job. So far, he hasn't lost anything but his mind, calling into the radio show.

If this is the case, I sense that this case will probably be settled out of court. I think that franchise would rather take the hit on a settlement than the whole court situation.
I doubt he ever sees a penny. If he pursues this further then the NFL Network gets involved and becomes liable which ends his broadcasting career. Unless Jethro hires him on the Cowboys Silver Network.

it's probably over as it is, so he might as well go all out

that still does not mean it was cause and the employer does have to pay you out for breaching the employment contract, you cannot just fire willy nilly
