Maybe we should just make a list of who showed.

Don't forget we are already down 12 players because we decided not to sign anyone in free agency.
12 players that were the combination of starters + solid rotation/role contributors - that made the Cowboys a 12- win team 3X straight = division winners 2x..that placed them in the mix to strive for NFCCG \ SB titles.

But after seeing what happened 3 months ago to-the-day__yesterday...
it just seems it a laissez faire reaction to improve the team so the Cowboys don't again fall short early on in the postseason.

The Front Office is taking a very stubborn stance on contracts.

Players don't have to like it. If their option to hold out, miss practices, etc. then the team has to do something to bring them to negotiation table.

Yet there’s been a lassez faire
Yeah - we all know at this early stage NFL veterans are just going through the motions.

Who in their right mind would be excited to attend these voluntary workouts after this off season?

A funeral might be more exciting.

Come on guys. Jerry said we are all in and has done nothing to improve the team except signing an old average lb. All the coaches are lame ducks also. Why in the world would any top flight player attend a voluntary mini camp with what they have seen happen. That old saying of steel sharpens steel does not apply with this years team as it is currently made up. More like silly putty sharpens silly putty.
We miss understood. He meant all in with the current roster. Meaning we are done adding, we are already all in.

Only people panicking are the Jones', but they are confused, because they hold all the cards.
The Joneses aren't panicking...just falling back on their perennial MO...ignoring that they must change up what they do this offseason.

This team is so unserious about winning anything.

Why would you be when the ultimate goal is to build a product that just pumps profits.

They learn from the top. The FO isn't concerned about winning so why would would the players? This whole organization has a losing attitude. Fans care more about this then the players. They want their money and then want to go home because they're tired. Don't really care if they all hold out right now. If this is a tank season then play the players that want to be in the NFL. Our players are too entitled. Been the problem with this team for years. They expect teams to lose to them because they are the Dallas Cowboys.

Jerry is a marketing guy. He definitely cares about what the fans think. You are fooling yourself if you think he doesn't.

The players aren’t blind to the fact that the front office isn’t committed to putting the best possible team on the field.

If they get off to like a 2-5 start, they will absolutely quit on Mike.

Jerry thinks putting people in impossible spots is a motivational tactic.

We need a few Campo years to inspire real change at the top if we are ever to see any success again in our lifetime.

That's why they need to ask for all the money can get. Not going win anyway.

I wouldn’t read too much into it, many players don’t show up to these whether they have a new contract or not. They are still vacationing or near their hometown doing independent strength & conditioning. Wait until phase 3 in June before getting the pitchforks out :muttley:
