So, which one is it a theory or a question?
The Rams are done with Good 'Ole Gus at the helm.
Brian Leonard looks like a player.

Oops. Bad post by me.

It was a theoretical question - open to all Zoners.

Nice sig dalboy.

I wonder what the odds are on the Chargers GM keeping his job after the season.

I think Marvis Frazier had a better chance against Mike Tyson than this guy does of keeping his job (some of you young folks won't get that reference).

VA Cowboy says he is the best GM in the league.

Did Bulger get benched cuz of performance or the injury?

If he got benched due to performance I'd fire the Head Coach on the spot if I were the GM. He's the franchise QB playing with broken ribs behind and OL that Winston Justice could start for, no way should Bulger be the scapegoat for their sorry record.

Honestly, all this tells me is that it's probably pretty accurate.

You're kidding, right?

All those people do is throw giant logs of poo against the wall and hope some of it sticks.

This poo stuck. As did their Tank to Dallas poo that everyone ...errr... poo-poo'd at the time it was posted.

Like they were the first ones to talk about the Tank to Dallas rumors.

Most of the stuff they post is rumors from somewhere else. I'd say roughly 1% of their Poo is of their own "making".

And I never said none of their poo stuck, but they throw a lot of it against the wall.

And if you consider that place to be a credible source of information then you're even more clueless then I had previously thought. That's saying a lot.

Why don't more NFL teams devote resources to improving the quality of their OLs?

Because they are like a lot of the fanboys on this board who are foaming at the mouth for some 'star':

Larry fitzgerald
Mcfadden
Ray Rice
etc
etc

These people won't be much on any team without a good OL.

It's a good thing the cowboys have a good OL then, huh?

So you want us to draft more offensive linemen? Even though we drafted 2 very good ones last year?

Not sure we can say our OT draftee's are "good" yet. It may take some time to figure that out.

They were good in college ..... which is what you rate their draft status on.

Anyone we draft will be rated on their college performance. You cannot draft out of the Pro's.

of course, we should always have our eyes peeled for more good OL and LB and CB, and yes even before WR, RB, QB. Just look at how many OL, LB, and CB you have to carry on your roster.

So - we decimate team's rosters with injuries, cause them to sit their starting QBs and demote their offensive coordinators.....

can the Patriots say any of that?

This season has been so amazing so far. We just beat the ever-loving snot out of the opposition. I'd hate to have to come off this high.
Take big, deep, breaths and go

ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger, who has been playing with two broken ribs, will be replaced by backup Gus Frerotte for Sunday's home game against Arizona.

"Bulger is hurt, and Frerotte is the quarterback until Bulger's ribs heal," Rams spokesman Rick Smith said.

Coach Scott Linehan told both quarterbacks Tuesday.

The 36-year-old Frerotte started 15 games in 2005 for Miami, where Linehan was the offensive coordinator at the time. Bulger will be Frerotte's backup against the Cardinals (2-2) on Sunday.

"If he has to, he will play," Smith said.

It's unclear how long it will take Bulger to heal after injuring the ribs in the season-opening loss to Carolina.

Bulger, who signed a six-year, $65 million contract extension in training camp, has been playing behind a patchwork offensive line decimated by injuries. Left tackle Orlando Pace and guard Mark Setterstrom are out all season with injuries, and guard Richie Incognito has yet to play because of a high ankle sprain.

A two-time Pro Bowl player, Bulger has been ineffective most of the season, part of the reason the Rams are 0-4. In a 35-7 loss Sunday at Dallas, Bulger was 11-of-24 for 114 yards and an interception. St. Louis' lone score came on a punt return. In fact, the Rams haven't scored an offensive touchdown since Week 2.

The change at quarterback came after Linehan had said Sunday and Monday that Bulger gave the Rams the best chance to win.

Hard to find a bigger riches to rags story than the Rams this year. They had more total yards from scrimmage than any team in the NFL last year, and Bulger had more passing yards than Peyton. Now he's being benched after the first month of the season.

The Norv Turner Affect in San Diego has to be up there....

...or the Saints.

I guess after we play the Bills, they'll just execute Dick Jauron on the spot

I guess after Culpepper's performance last Sunday they wish they would have held onto him. :lmao2:

I thought Culpepper had 5 completions and 75 yards passing last Sunday. Yeah he rushed for 3 TD's but I doubt his passing so far is making anyone cry about him being gone.
