News: PFT: Report: Cowboys getting calls about Darren McFadden

Until last year, McFadden was one injury after another and his ypg was goind down drastically. He got beaten out by undrafted rookies.

That's why only Dallas was interested. Desperation called.
He was playing behind a crap line with less than subpar QBs. It was him or nothing, no one excels in those situations.

That is not correct. KSmith is likely to make the squad since he could be used as a LB if one was needed and he
is a special teams demon. Rod Smith is in the tub and likely not to make this team. Garrett loves him some KSmith.
What's not correct? You said pretty much what I said

Keith Smith will make the squad because they need someone to cut and resign 30 times during the season.

Its a more important role then people think

McFadden would have led the league in rushing last year if he played 16 games. I've never seen a bunch of people that wanted to get rid of a valuable offensive weapon for peanuts.
There is a roll for McFadden on this team regardless if Zeke and Morris are here.

To many people here who can't remember last season when McFadden performed very well on an offense that couldn't pass the ball at all.

I guess they fell in love with Darius Jackson and are ignoring that McFadden is a well rounded back in almost every aspect of the game.

Not to mention he will be able to block far better than super rookie Zeke. With a backup or Romo that's always a plus.

Doesn't matter. KJJ said he only averaged 4.4 YPC against Miami so he sucks.

Mike Fisher said team is gonna keep him. I figure teams are offering late round conditional pick. And the boys figure they are better off letting him sit on the bench here

Ezekiel Elliott made his preseason debut for the Cowboys last week and the results were in line with what the team hoped to see when they drafted Elliott fourth overall in April. The Cowboys had used Alfred Morris as their lead back in the first two preseason games and he also looked good running behind…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2408321&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

You mean we are getting calls about him and NOT Darius Jackson?
