He strikes me as a backup QB, not a starter.

Unlike some people I don't think that is a bad thing. There are theoretically only 96 NFL QBs at any one time. Having a guy capable of coming off the bench is a good thing. He can play, he just is not a guy who you should count on to lead your team to the promised land.

No, in my opinion he didn't make a decent point. He conceded to me that Eli and Campbell on the same team that Eli would start, regardless of which team.

So how do you admit that, and have a good point about Campbell being better than Eli?

He isn't. I don't particularly care for either guy, but Eli Manning is clearly a better QB than Jason Campbell with or without the pieces around him. Just the facts.

Why would any team trade for Campbell? They can just wait until Washington releases him. And if a team did trade for him they aren't giving up a player and a draft pick.

Agreed and it isn't even close. Jason Campbell looks like he's lost out there when he plays ... he has the deer in the headlights look.
