By "NFL" you must be referring to the owners.LOL...the NFL is lucky to have Jerry......many of you don't appreciate him, I do....I know the man and he's nothing like what you see on TV...it's not easy to win championships at any level.....spoiled fans won't understand that.
The NFL may be lucky to have him but the Cowboys are not. The Cowboy fans are not.
You are right. It's certainly not easy when the owner doesn't respect the game, the league, or his own team's fans enough to demonstrate a fundamental co.mutmemt to winning cha.pionships.
The first priority is to make an intense and tireless effort to hire the very best football experts in the country. This is demonstrated by their credentials, proof that they are qualified.
Jerry skipped this whole step and decided he and his children fit this description of "credentials" That's how much respect he has for Cowboys fans.
As far as our team is concorned, we all live in the shadows of Jerry's narcistic fantasy. Every major football related decision has a been made by an amateur GM. That is exactly what both Jerry and Stephen are.
Credentials require far more than money, public relations, and politics. It also requires talent and success at previous levels That is a blank on Jerry's resume.
