Looney is here because of versatility, he plays center and guard and played numerous years, you're comparing a one year roolie player to a veteran??......Looney's verstility helps on game day when you dress 46....
Williams is just not very good. Looney is a far better player. Why are we leaving a superior player on the bench?

Put the best five out there.

That strength means nothing. As Nate Newton says, you have to have a huge butt to anchor at guard. Upper body strength means almost nothing there. He'll get thrown around by Fletcher Cox just like he did against JJ Watt.

so you're basing it on two all pro elite Dt's in the league that have their way with veterans too, not too many of those type DT's in this league......

Perhaps Collins for a high pick.

Move Williams over to RT and let Looney play LG.
:lmao: Depth on the o-line is not that great. Collins isn't going ANYWHERE this year. Sometimes I wonder if fans ever pay attention to the games.

Don't tease me!

But in all honesty, he'd be the one guy that I would move.

Save me a ton of cap space, allow me to keep a young guy wth upside, and get something for a player that's soon to b gone anyway.

But "they like him", or so I've been told.
I would agree to a trade for Crawford BEFORE I even heard the terms.

We've already established that you do not.

williams has not played a snap at rt in nfl.
moving things like that now is highly risky.
looney was decent for a center but that does not mean he is decent for a guard.
Sua is better than Williams. Looney is better than Williams.

Draft position shouldn't determine who starts.

sua cannot pass block
looney has not played much guard so the jury is out of that.
it is nice to have looney for tfred insurance and guard insurance.

Some team might want to take a chance on Taco, seeing as how he's looking much better lately. He might bring a 4th, 5th or so, perhaps? Hard to say. Nevertheless, it's always tough to take a loss on someone who was a 1st round pick. Depends upon how the FO feels at the time, no doubt.

Maybe the Cowboys are looking for a player-for-player swap involving Taco.
