You likely totally underestimate what Jerry thinks of Wade - Jerry damn well better care about Wade's happiness if what he wants is wins. Jerry is crazy but he knows how important Wade is to the team right now.

Nothing new here....every team that misses the playoffs this year will be looking at Cowher next year.
As a first year coach, all Wade has to do is make the playoffs...even if we lose again in the first round, he'll get a break because he's a first year coach here.
He'd only be fired if we finished 7-9 and some of his game decisions cost us W's....imo.

The point we were arguing was what happend is the team is succesful AND teams come looking for Garrett as their next HC. That's the issue I brought up and the issue I was discussing.
Do you really think that if Wade gets the team on track that Jerry is going to throw that away to hire Garrett?

Jerrah is a much better owner than Danny Boy... But Jerrah is VERY impulsive like Danny up here in Washington... If Wade and this team implodes look for changes.... and maybe Cowher to come here or at least be talked to about the position...I would be so pissed Cowher is nothing without those coordinators that he had (Wisenhunt and the other D-Coordinator)
