I’m losing interest in Zeke as his holdout continues.
Yep..
I’m excited to watch Pollard.
He’s been the talk of camp and took over as RB 1 yesterday.

Me too. I'm losing interest in Zeke in general. He's becoming a polarizing player on this team. Either he's winning games for us or being a major distraction as far as suspensions, conduct off the field, and holdouts. It seems like all we talk about is Dak and Zeke. This is Romo and Dez all over again. It's tiring and repetitive. I'm at the point if we could get good value in a trade involving draft picks I would want to lock up Coop, Jaylon and Dak and send Zeke to another team and he can get in trouble there.I’m losing interest in Zeke as his holdout continues.
Not sure I buy that and he makes $3,853,137 which is a lot closer to 4M than 3M.Agree......the $3M certainly means nothing to him
Zeke should hope for his own sake that he's even still in football shape by the time he's "ready" to deal.
its a big game of chicken. Is he good? yes. but if the cowboys do OK offensively and are winning, then it gets tougher for Zeke. he would have no choice but to show up and get his spot back. the cowboys then wouldn't be inclined "not to fine him".Now the question is when/if Jerry and/or Stephen are bringing in quality replacement and no that's not Morris or Polar IMO.
As expected, August 6 deadline meant nothing to Ezekiel Elliott

When word first emerged of an Ezekiel Elliott holdout, some insisted that Elliott would show up before August 6 in order to receive what would have been his fourth year of credit toward free agency. Others (us) explained that the date meant nothing to Elliott, who cares far less about becoming a free agent and far more about getting a new contract — especially since he has two years left under his rookie deal.
August 6 has now come and gone, and Elliott didn’t cave. As expected.

240k per game/week he misses is a lot to a kid who liikely has minimal savings.
hes not playing in 2019...mark it down....
He will.
Too much money on the table and he'll have to sit out again next year.
Dallas has all the leverage.
I can't imagine more than a few rookie contract players could.Plus the previous 6 games checks he missed. I would not be surprised if Zeke financially cannot afford to miss games.
That is his leverage. If he had none why even talk with him. Tell him to sit out and we move on from him. We have nobody currently on this team that can replace him. He knows that. Problem is his leverage doesn't start until the season does.leverage will likely ruin our season,Zeke knows this too. This is the season we have to get close to the SB.

Going into the season with unproven rookies who haven't even played in one game. Yep SB. Lots of players are stars in camp and then when the season starts it's what ever happened to that guy? I remember when we drafted Switzer. He was supposed to so all these great things. Don't know where he is now.He plays the easiest position in football to replace and the 4th round rookie who took over as 1st team RB yesterday just so happens to be a star at camp.
