PFW: 10 free agents to watch

This post is a joke, right?

This post is apparently an example of sarcasm too right?

OLB is not much of a weakness for this defense...ILB is.

Randy Moss is the most dominant, game-changing offensive player ever. He is the only player who opposing coaches and players genuinely fear. I would sign him in a heartbeat. It was predictable that he would resume his dominant play once he got out of purgatory in Oakland.

I would let Glenn and Crayton walk, (although I really love Crayton and would welcome him as the 3rd receiver),and I would sign Moss. For those that say he and T.O. couldn't get along, I disagree. They are perfect compliments to each other with T.O. running the crossing routes and Moss running the deep routes.

I can't even imagine how good our offense would be if we added Moss. Just say hello to #6 and #7. :lombardi:

ILB may not be a "Strength" for the defense but it sure as hell isn't a "Weakness".

Kinda layin' it on a little thick....................There's alot of players who are feared. #81 being one of them. Barbarian, Witten, ROMO  etc.

Wow. Someone's credibility went through the floor.

Have a nice day.

What credibility?
Dunno. I just assumed he had some to begin with. I haven't really noticed his posts in the past.

I have, and believe me, his credibility was already in the negatives.

Only reason he isn't on my ignore list is cuz he doesn't post much so he hasn't been that much of a nuisance.

That could always change though.

No, I really believe Moss is the only one actually feared.

The others you mentioned have to be game-planned for and they all have the respect of the other teams, but with Moss it's like you hold your breath waiting for the moment in the game he is going to kill you with an incredible, 50 yard TD catch between two defenders. Moss demoralizes the opposing team.

Man, I'd take Faneca over Kosier and try to get Haynesworth. I know he plays a DT in a 4-3 but imagine that rotation with Fergie, Tank and Haynesworth. Ohhhhhh, that's scary right there.

AMEN BROTHER. I cant understand the theory that there arent enough passes for these two. *** is that all about. Romo is completing about 22 passes a game, he'd only need complete half those to TO and Moss to give them each 90 balls on the year.

There is one thing nobody considers in teaming these two. How much each of them would embrace it. Just think how many double teams these two must face week in and week out. How hard they have to work to get thiers.

Now imagine them on the field together. How many pure double teams they gonna have to face then. Just think how many MORE plays they'd get to face single coverage.

Now consider the offensive guys around them. Pretty good O-line, respectable ground game, probowl QB chucking it and oh ya... not a half bad TE who tends to command a little attention himself

I get chills just thinking about it.

Yeah, but think about how T.O. would react... Just a few weeks ago he was talking about "The other 81".

Moss might actually be able to handle it -- he's not looking for the spotlight this year -- but I doubt T.O. could.

Besides, I bet you Moss stays there. Unfortunately, he seems to really like Belichick and Brady. And as much as he's helped their team, they might just pony up and pay him.

We'll see come the offseason and the areas of need that will surely be addressed...ILB will be on that list along with WR, RB and DB.

That's cool...............I can dig your opinion. We'll agree to disagree.

I agree, Moss is going nowhere. Especially if they win it all, the Pats will give him a sweet deal to finish his career there. He'll be 31 this Feb and the Pats would be crazy to not sign him to a 5 year deal.

Well I think that most of the players you have listed as FA Dallas will allow to walk.

Patrick Crayton....is an exceptional third receiver and has proven this season that he can be a good second receiver. I know that the Cowboys would love to sign him but for how much? I just dont believe the Cowboys will be able to sign him when you have teams like the Titans, 49ers, or others who have cap space in need of a proven receiver. Crayton has great hands and runs good routes, assets that more than make up for his lack of speed. I think Crayton will be worth more than the Cowboys will be willing to spend.

no way Dallas lets Crayton just walk, he's a 1st down machine and is great out of the slot, him and TO alternating slot receiver duties is working out really well for us, re-sign him and just draft a receiver capable of playing on the outside

sjordan6 said:
Look for the Cowboys to get a big-time receiver in the off-season to offset the retirement of Terry Glenn and departure of Crayton.

what big-name WR other than Moss is out there? there's Bernard Berrian, but he isn't worth the money that Crayton is

sjordan6 said:
I think Adams walk and they allow McQuistan to take his place or use one of their late first rounders on a offensive tackle.

although I like McQ, I hope we don't just give him the job, do whatever it takes to re-sign Flozell, throw alot of incentives into his deal

Reeves is not going anyware.
