Uh oh, just when we thought the Skins might actually have a full complement of draft picks next year, LOL...

Seriously, why are the Skins pursuing defensive line help via the trade route, if upgrading the pass rush by that DL isn't important?? To me, this blurb is a tacit admission by the Skins' management that they TRIED to upgrade at this important position, but basically blew it...
Would you feel better if I quoted Greg from 2004 saying he's always looking for players and talent on the D-Line?

Really? Greg said that?

WOW! I don't think any other NFL teams do that! Man, you should not let this kind of information out because other teams might start doing that!

Man, those RedStink coaches are real trail blazers!!

is after the draft the period where Commander fans go stupid on us or something?

This is an ongoing syndrome and is not exclusive to the period after the draft.

Actually it's a prerequisite to becoming a RedStink fan...

No smart person would root for that garbage team that wears mustard and ketchup...

Actually I think it is BBQ Sauce and Mustard.

Just wanted to clarify that...plus it also is a better comparison since those two ingredients just do not seem to go together as well as ketchup and mustard.:D

Hmmm...you do have a point there! I wonder if I'll ever look at BBQ meat the same way now!

Thanks!

It's Gregg and yes he said that. Thought it might be relevent since a little blurb from the "insiders" caused such a large discussion. A blurb that everyone and their mom knew anyway.

:laugh2: funny thing is, our Dline was equally embaressing in 04 and 05 but the difference was that we had our secondary healthy. Same thing this year. I don't see anything wrong in upgrading our Dline since several quality Dlineman are available.

Its good to know that were not wasting first round picks on linebackers... like the bust Bobby Carpenter and soon to be bust Anthony Spencer from PURDUE (LOL)
Yeah, everyone knows that you give a player half a season to determine if they are a bust or not. Why don't you go worry about your D-Line? Vikings fans say that Brock Lesnar is awesome, why don't you work him out?

what did you expect them to say: "We have screwed things up so bad it will take several years to recover. We have no pass rush and questionable corners."
remember this is Washington DC where everyone lies all the time about everything.

That's an insult to great barbeque sauces everywhere.

Naw, I'll just note that he didn't do a very good job of it this offseason... so now, Skins fans are trying to convince us that it's not a big deal, that the DL isn't really "important" in the Skins' system...

Yeah, RIIIIIIIGGGGHHHTTTTTT... never mind that last year, Andre Carter was supposed to be the savior of the Skins' pass rush, according to those same fans... :D

it's hilarious, a couple of days ago, it's, "oh, the Skins need a better secondary than Dline", now we're hearing that the team thinks otherwise

I love seeing Skin fans spin everything

It's honestly one of the big things that help make the offseason not quite so long. Just reading that Pr*** Art's tripe about how since the fans aren't as informed about the teamas the coaches, and the team didn't do anything to upgrade the DL... then clearly, they don't want DL help and don't need it. It's overwhelmingly stupid.

No mention of the fact that there wasn't really anyone they could afford in free agency at DL or the fact that they tried as hard as possible to trade the #6 pick and move back (likely to get DL help)... but couldn't. It's typical rose colored glass crap from the biggest homer I've ever encountered.

I still laugh at how he wrote that it was good that they looked so horrible in pre-season last year and that anyone who couldn't tell it was a ruse to lull the rest of the NFL to sleep, was just stupid and blind. Yeah... that turned out real well for them. He proved he's always correct, right then and there.

Which only means the team has nobody better to plug in...

Yeah Bradies James and Gregg Ellis are such great players that Bobby can't replace them. On top of that he got another guy drafted in the first round to play the position he was supposed to :lmao2:

What youre failing to see is that all three of those players would start for your team.

After putting up the 6th worst record last year it is pretty foolish to come and talk about talent of a team that made the playoffs last year.

or the talent of the team (Dallas) that hasn't won a playoff game since Madona was a virgin :lmao:

No one on your defense would start in Washington besides Ware or Newman.

What do you call a guy that couldn't beat out Al Singleton? Don't deny that Carp was drafted as an OLB. After he sucked at OLB, he moved inside and couldn't replace god awful Bradie Jamies.

Please... take of the homer glasses and see the mess your team is in. Without any significant injuries you couldn't even win the division. The Giants, Commanders and Eagles were depleted with injuries and Dallas still couldn't beat teams above .500.

Which team was in the playoffs and which team was at home getting wet nursed???

A team picking 6th telling a team picking #22 that their team is a mess is just about the most ******** thing I have ever heard:lmao2:
