Yeah he missed quite a few holes today, but there is a place for a hard running back even if they don't have good vision.

Murray
Randle
Tanner
Dunbar

Those will be our RBs, not necessarily in that order.

Tanner does not have good vision. This is what prevents him from being a consistent threat at RB on a weekly basis. He will not be able to break tackles every week and will leave a lot of yards on the field. But as a backup change of pace guy you use every now and then, he's a great option.

Overall I like the mix of RBs on the roster. A lot of versatility in the group which the coaching staff will have at their disposal to attack different opponents. Or...this discussion will all be moot if Murray is healthy and is able to play a full 16 games.

He plays hard but he doesn't have the natural talent or speed that a guy like Dunbar has. No real opinion on who is better on STs but that's a big deal. If we keep three backs I'd bet on Tanner being the odd man out.

I will say this.. if Murray gets hurt.. I would be fine with Tanner, Randle, or Dunbar as opposed to a back like Felix Jones.

I think we keep 4 RBs and have Lawrence on the PS. The fact Murray has an injury history makes keeping 4 the deciding factor, along with the talent level here. These guys are good.
