what is with these fast whistles? jacobs hadnt stopped running, the eagles defenders were just bouncing off of him. he could have broken free and gone for a big gain, but the refs blew the whistles basically on contact.

I'm wondering if our scheme by design puts CB's in a position to defend the man rather than play the ball. We've had QB's put up poor throws, but it's rare someone is in place to make the int, especially the safeties who never seem to be around the ball. Even when we play zone, there's never anyone there to jump routes it seems. Maybe a fault of the ILB play in coverage?

It seems to me that Jenkins and Scandrick are the the same mold as Newman, meaning cover guys. We seem to play not to give up big plays than to attack the ball, Henry is the only risk taker we have in coverage and he often gets burned when he does.

the same reason Greg Davis runs Cody Johnson to the outside..............IDIOT OCs.

When you have a raging bull, you get him running north and south with horns pointed downward.....not east and west, where he has his entire body showing, he can't get his speed going, and he cant use his horns to clear the way.

I agree, I think Hixon has a long way to go in terms of learning the nuances of the position, right now he's just a fast receiver. I've seen him fail to adjust on a lot of long balls like that.

Yeah, I live in NY and came out to my car this morning to go pick up the gf and it was literally coated in a shell of ice. It snowed yesterday, then rained then froze over. It was fun dodging the sheets of ice flying off people's cars on the highway.
