Of course we all want Super Bowl wins, some of us just choose to also enjoy the journey that comes with building a contender. If you want to ignore progress and be jaded until # 6, go for it. Me, I'd rather enjoy the build up and enjoy the ride.

So you mean to tell me that 31 other teams accomplished their goals from the previous season? It may be a stupid movie line from a stupid movie however, it holds true in football. If you don't win the superbowl then you failed for the season all that progress is meaningless and non sense. I have played sports and competed in various other things like poker chess and different other card games. My goal was always to win in these events to place first. I would work hard in an attempt to place first. I look for ways to improve and continue to try to place first.

And how many times did you actually place first??

I can state with some certainty that you never won any chess tournaments, unless they were conducted at the Special Olympics... LOL...

Seems they were content with not getting to the next level for a long, long time...

And of course, their trading McNabb this year had nothing to do with getting to the next level, that's some fantasy you created for yourself... that trade boiled down to they were either going to lose McNabb or Kolb next season, and they chose to go with the younger QB...

There's really nothing more to it than that...

That's a great point HoS. We also have 5 super bowl rings and they do not. We are considered one of the best franchises and they are not. Our fans are content with playoff wins while theirs are not.
