What was the Seattle game then?

Things change in the NFL. Seattle is a lot better now than they were playing then. And we are not even close to being that team we were on that day. Do you think if we played in Seattle next week we would get that same result?

I'm talking about from now until the end of the season. Yesterday is done and over with. We didn't lose anything, we weren't eliminated yesterday. This is not hard to understand.

Yea, we did lose something. We lost first place in our division. I'd say that's pretty important. But that's just me.

Absolutely not. The question is whether our team can get back to something resembling the team that beat Seattle before it's too late.

Things change. That is really the essential point isn't it? What happened on Thanksgiving won't determine what happens in two weeks. Win or lose.

Agreed. It amazes that people are ready to jump off based off of yesterday. The season isn't over and this team still has a lot to play for. I'm excited to see what we do these last 4 weeks. We control what we do. We don't need any help right now to get into the playoffs if we win.

And they are already ahead of my best guess scenario starting the season. That was a 7-9 record

Yeah I guess we lost it for the season then. No chance of getting it back or even making the playoffs. Season's over. And never said it wasn't important but nice to know you can make up things on the fly.

OMG :facepalm: This is SO obvious I don't know why I have to repeat it

To answer your silly question, us "having control " is utterly meaningless because we fold like a cheap tent

See last 3 season last 'win and you're in' games and the game yesterday

Clear?

That's not what I asked. I asked Did we get eliminated after losing yesterday. I don't care about the last 3 seasons, I care about this season. Man you are special.

Very unwarranted indeed. Calling someone stupid which is to imply they lack intellect is very uncalled for. We all have opinions and many are not shared. Give your rebuttal, state your facts and move on. Go Cowboys!

Very warranted. And I gave my opinion as well.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. Many people on here have already given up but I'm not. There is nothing that can be done about yesterday. We lost but there is something that can be done about these last 4 games.

Looking past this season, it will be important for the Cowboys to improve the D-line. That's what I got from this game, but it was something i thought has been an obvious weakness for years.

What we witnessed offensively yesterday should prove that it ALL starts up front, and re-signing Murray to a lucrative extension would be a monumental mistake. Murray had what, 73 yards yesterday?

I would take the money we'd use on Murray, and look to improve at LG and/or RT for next year. I don't care if you have Emmit Smith or Jim Brown behind that line yesterday; they wouldn't have gone anywhere.

Hopefully this opens the organization's eyes and doesn't re-sign Murray unless it's cap friendly and works for the Cowboys.

I wouldn't call it a blessing in disguise. I'd call it a reality check. And I'd say upgrading the defensive line is way more of a need than upgrading the offensive line. I like Murray. But if keeping him means we have to trot out the same stiffs at defensive line as we did this year, then let him walk and play Randle, my pet cat Williams, or draft someone.
