You've been a member since 09 with under 200 posts and you have the nerve to talk about other posters coming around randomly?

And you have 2,544 post of which 2,500 are negative.

It doesn't matter if all 2,544 were negative, the fact remains is that you still have under 200 posts and are trying to call out other posters. You should just keep quiet and stay in the shadows as you have been doing for the past 5 years.

Sorry but we know who you are.

Do I have enough posts to comment that the relative newbie is 100% right? We're all Cowboys fans, but it tells you everything you need to know about who's posting on CZ and for what reasons when they disappear when things are good and come back just to agitate other posters after a big loss.

Amazing how you magically re-appear when the team loses.

When your entire presence on the site is orchestrated, it's entirely predictable, isn't it?

It's the same with the kabuki theater we had the week before with the transparent 'arguments' between a phony 'superfan' and a 'realist-in-character.' Very little to do with the Cowboys and everything to do with disrupting other Cowboys fans.

All I can suggest is that everybody see it for what it is and give it the attention it deserves.

Look in the mirror to see who is not.

Whether they're fans of the team or not is another debate. I tend to think they are, because nobody spends as much time knowing the strengths and weaknesses of a roster or the history of an organization just to troll. What I think it not really subject to debate at this point is that they're not fans of CowboysZone or of the community here. They may remain more or less within our guidelines, but that doesn't mean they're here to make the forum a better place.

That said, this is as good a place as any to remind everybody of a couple of rules:

#9 - You will not antagonize or harass the members in general.
#29 - You will not spam any content on the site.

Spamming can include off-topic drive by insults intended to derail the topic of conversation in the thread in question. There are forums dedicated to those topics for anybody interested in them.

yesterday was a reality check. this team is not ready to compete with the better teams

I disagree, it was a divisional opponent and we was caught off guard and not prepared. Was it the short week? Getting big headed? Out coached? The sky isn't falling and when we play the Eagles again is possible first place will be on the line again. Seattle beats Philly and we beat Chicago. Philly has to play all division games last 3 weeks. That's a tough stretch but we shall see, that's why we play the games

Agreed. It amazes that people are ready to jump off based off of yesterday. The season isn't over and this team still has a lot to play for. I'm excited to see what we do these last 4 weeks. We control what we do. We don't need any help right now to get into the playoffs if we win.

And that will be the key.....Win. If not...clean house. Pissing away a 6-1 start deserves nothing less:mad:

They are no better or worse than the sun shine pumpers who refuses to admit any wrong doings by the team(FO, coaches, players etc).

They are worse. Because it's not about the team in their case at all. It's about targeting the forum.

We can debate happy fans v. actual realists some other time, but that's not what I'm talking about here.

Fair enough but there are plenty of sunshiners here who disappear when the team does bad and then come back calling out other posters with threads of their own when the team starts winning. They are no different than the "negative" posters you are talking about.

You're missing my point, but I don't know how to make it any better, so I'm going to stop trying. I think the distinction between positive/negative and pro-forum/not-pro-forum is pretty obvious.

But on the topic you seem to be trying to discuss, I also think there's a world of difference between posters not coming around after a loss because they don't want to deal with the overreaction and staying away from your favorite team message board for weeks during a really great six game winning streak. I really, really don't like posters calling out other posters for not being 'true' fans, but there's definitely something backwards going on when a person's reputation on a sports board interferes with their ability to enjoy watching and talking about their favorite team winning a string of games. That's just my personal take, and I understand that there are plenty of people who are ok with that particular inversion and that it works for them. I just don't ever want to become one of them.
