Philly’s Super Bowl is Saturday at AT&T. Their DREAM is to destroy Dallas in their house in front of the world. Their fanbase is rabid, hateful, foaming at the mouth and insanely jealous of the attention that Dallas gets—the hype, the ratings, the nicknames, the money and glamour, and most of all the indifference. It’s eaten at them for generations.

You realize that at least half the players probably weren’t born when Dallas last won a Super Bowl, and players are just looking to clinch the number1 seed. They wouldn’t care where they did it or who they beat to do it.

The fans are the ones who would get great joy if it happened on Saturday night in Dallas. Most fans are over the “Dallas is our Super Bowl”since the Cowboys haven’t been to one in awhile and the Eagles have been as successful, maybe more since Dallas last appeared in one.

The Cowboys will always be a bitter division rivals but that will diminish over time as the fan base gets younger and Dallas gets further away from the glory days.

The only way to change this is for the Cowboys to start having some playoff success and start dominating the division again.

Enjoy the game Saturday, and Happy Holidays to all.

We don't deserve the division after losing to a 5-8 Jaguars team when we were up 17 points in the 3rd quarter and they turned it over 2 times after that.

That’s partly right, but the resentment and hatred is still over the top, as evidenced by the nasty replies several Eagle players had to one Dallas player answering a question in an interview. The fans? It’s trendy fun to celebrate their hatred. They resent the attention and hype that Dallas gets, and they overreact—even more so nowdays, because people are much more aggressive and confrontational. I’ve seen it first hand.

While we had a terrible second half, where’s the overreaction to Philly beating lowly Chicago by less than a TD, or the league’s “worst”, the Texans, taking the mighty Chiefs to OT?

If Hurts doesn't play, this thread becomes a bit different.

LOL, that's not the way lines work. Dallas gets a ton of action by pom-pom waving fans, so lines are usually skewed early on.

Vegas wants one thing: 50% to bet on Dallas, and 50% to bet against Dallas. Vegas takes the juice either way, and it wins.

Setting lines is about betting tendencies and achieving 50/50 splits, not game results.

Wait one minute...

You mean to tell me that "betting organizations" are in business to make money???? LMAO

Hahaha, this is absurd. The Eagles Super Bowl is the Super Bowl. And Eagles fans aren’t jealous of the attention Dallas get’s, if anything it’s amusing that the national media continues to slobber over a franchise that hasn’t done anything of significance in 27 years. Every year will be the year and every year the typical Dallas collapse happens. Dallas is the definition of style over substance. I think Jerry is entertaining but he’s a carnival barker and the Boys are the 3 ring circus.

Respectfully, what are you talking about? One Eagles player even commented and it was Jordan Mailata, “We’re worried about the Bears and our game this week. Micah should focus on their game too against.. whoever the f***k they’re playing, I don’t even know. We’re playing the Chicago Bears, not the Chicago Micah Parsons”

Based on the game seems like Mailata was correct.

Philly doesn't care. They will get the #1 seed within the next 3 weeks. We are looking at it as our SB. Before I was even aware of the injury to Hurts there was talk of philly resting starters this week. They were treating this like a preseason game after we blew it on Sunday. Too bad we didn't take the Jacksonville game more seriously.
