Yeah and that "one" playoff win was your first win in 15 years. Good job. As you well know being a cowboy fan, most teams don't make it to the playoffs year after year. "Ya'll ain't winning anything either as Da boys are in decline so just prepare yourself for that for the next decade. What a waste of a great RB and QB.

And yeah we're beating a bunch of nobodies. Does that include your team next week? Give me a break.

By the way, I NEVER liked McNabb. We actually got rid of him a couple years too late.
Haha you have no clue about anything.... You said Dallas is a team in decline, they are the second youngest team in the league. Go to bed your drunk.

Doesn't matter if it's 1 win, it was against the eagles who haven't won a playoff game in how long. Dude please stop you look more silly every time you comment.

And my point is that your point is true only because the Eagles injured are not the core of their elite players.

The Ciwboys lost three 1st team All Pros. The Eagles didn't have an All Pro on theor team but they have better talent spread more evenly acroas their team. Hicks is very good, Peters was great but he is 36 and Sproles has always been a situational player.

Zeke is the engine of the Cowboy offense, Lee is the heart and brains of the defense and Smith is the leader on the offenaive line. If you didn't want the Cowboys to succeed and could take away amy three players it would be those three guys.

If I truly wanted to hurt the Eagles then I would take out a reciever like Jeffrey, a DT like Cox and a CB like Robinson. I doubt then that they would be 8-1.

Wrong again. Jeffery actually has been our version of Dez (but of course, of course not as good) The stats bear this out (targets vs receptions) I honestly don't think out O would skip a beat without him.

Cox is a beast, no doubt, but that happens to be our deepest position on the team and we also rotate ALL our DL We were without him for the Chargers and Cardinals games also and Beau Allen played very well. He played very well last year too when Cox was injured.

Robinson?? If you said Jalen Mills I would completely agree with you. He's the one that's been holding it down in the defensive backfield. Robinson is JAG.

Yeah really.

They lost their best TB, their best OL, their best LB and also their best CB. Four key players they were counting on to help them win this year. Now if you want to say Lee is better than Hicks, go right ahead but the more important point is Hicks was their best LB by far and he's gone and they have adapted. Peters may not be as good as Smith but he also was one of their best OL. They adapted.

Now you may want to rationalize all this to defend Garrett but the reality is they lose four very, very important players and are still winning.

its not really about defending garrett, its about our injured players have more value to us then theirs.. as you can see

Tyron is not the best. I've seen him give up sacks.
What LT in the history of the NFL hasn’t given up sacks? Be serious, clown! The guy has been all pro year in and year out, not just pro bowler. Meaning he is the best at his position. Lifetimes ahead of your boy Trent. Kick rocks!

Wait, so we are arguing about how good the players who went down are?

How about we stick to what is important?

How bad our replacements are versus theirs. Chaz Green, our RBs and Jaylon Smith versus Vaitai, Ajayi and Joe Walker/now Ellerbe.

They have taken significantly more measures to ensure that they have a chance.

We have done little beyond crossing our fingers.

But that counts as a strategy in Dallas for our front office.

Well... We did use a 2nd and 3rd round pick.

The problem is the coaches still coach like they have Lee and Tyron out there.

every team loses a bunch of key guys. only our team nosedives.

This...

If it’s not a QB then don’t start blaming injuries.

There are times you actually have to coach around injuries. If you can’t do it then quit.

I'd agree that they're not a good team. Deeply flawed. But it pains me that our coaches were incapable of finding those flaws when it seems everyone else can.
Teams lose games are they are suppose to win. It happens in the NFL. That was our game.

There were more defensive players picked in top 3 round picks in the JG era.

Bruce Carter was a high 2nd rounder
Mo was picked with 6th overall and another 2nd round pick was used to trade up. He costed more than Tyron Smith.
Crawford was a 3rd rounder
Wilcox was a 3rd rounder
Lawrence was a high 2nd rounder (pick 34) and another pick was used to trade up.
Byron Jones (27) was picked higher than Frederick (31)
Gregory was 2nd rounder
Jaylon Smith was a high 2nd rounder (34)
Maliek Collins was a 3rd rounder
Taco was a 1st rounder.

You keep bringing up the high picks used to pick offensive line. They actually used higher picks on defense yet they failed miserably with those picks. Mo was higher pick than Tyron. Byron Jones was a higher pick than Frederick.

JG also spent significantly more money on FA on defensive side. Carr was a big contract guy. Even with all this, he couldn't build a defense that can win without Wade's player.

How are 2nd and 3rd rounders equivalent to 1st rounders? You consider those high picks?

There is more to just drafting for a GM.

Trades are another avenue and Roseman has developed that skill nicely.

If Jerry Jones pulls any of these off, it would be his best since getting Terry Glenn.

- Gets 2nd round pick for washed up Donovan McNabb
- Gets Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a 2012 2nd round pick for Kevin Kolb
-Gets DeMeco Ryans + 2012 3rd round pick for a 2012 3rd and 4th.
-Gets Darren Sproles for a 2014 4th round pick
-Trades Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell to acquire the 8th pick in the draft; cleans up cap and dumps Chip Kelly acquisitions and started the Wentz move up
-Trades Sam Bradford to Minnesota for a 1st and 4th
-Gets Timmy Jernigan and a 3rd round pick for a 3rd round pick

Jones cannot even sniff a trade and Roseman has made nearly forty trades in roughly five years where he had more control.

Drafts are apart of being a gm. I read Howie has made over 40 trades since being there.....I guess if you trade that many times you are bound to hit on 3 of them.

I think that's a false premise............... that they have to be more valuable because we are losing without them and they are winning without their key players.

I think the reason is that they are able to overcome some key losses because they are better prepared, better coached, they had a better offseason and have depth at key positions.

man it's obvious some of you guys don't watch any football oustide the cowboys. acting like the cowboys are suffering the worst injuries and losing the best players in the league...open your horizons a bit. packers, patriots have been littered with injuries the last two years but they keep pushing. same thing with the eagles this year. well built rosters with sound coaching. two things we lack.

We have had just 1 game without our best players. Doesn't mean we can't win.

GB lost 3 straight before they won their first game since Rodgers got hurt

While I agree with your statement that it does happen. It's happened 3 times with us. We should've won the Packers and Ram's game. Not making adjustments doomed us in those games like it did last Sunday

Sproles wasnt going to carry the load. We lost alot more than "one." Not making excuses for our coaching but you are minimizing our loses. We were without our best offensive and defensive player last week, along with the leagues best LT. But yeah, the coaches sucked I agree.
They've lost their 3 best players in each position, and some. They lost Fletcher Cox, Darby, Sproles, Hicks And Peters at various times throughout the year, and kept on winning. It's our coaching staff more than anything they are not getting these kids prepared to play when the starters go down.

Shall we lost all heir injuries when they beat us last year in the playoffs and this season as well? I guarantee it's about a dozen players.

Bill Belicheck couldn't make Jaylon a MLB right now. He would however find his strength, which is moving forward and attacking, and use it to sack the QB.
