I didn’t say Peters Sucks the dude is a HOFer. Hicks is solid with the system and personnel in Philly otherwise JAG. Us losing Lee would be on par for you losing Cox or Jenkins hell prob both cause our front isn’t as good as yalls

Hicks was a stud in a 3-4 and a 4-3 with varying personnel on the DL.

I'm not even going to address you comparing Lee's impact to Jenkins and Cox's COMBINED.

The Cowboys also can't say that they can handle losing players while the Eagles obviously can. That's the point.

One team hasn't missed a beat despite their losses and the other is running off the rails.

That's the point.
And my point is that your point is true only because the Eagles injured are not the core of their elite players.

The Ciwboys lost three 1st team All Pros. The Eagles didn't have an All Pro on theor team but they have better talent spread more evenly acroas their team. Hicks is very good, Peters was great but he is 36 and Sproles has always been a situational player.

Zeke is the engine of the Cowboy offense, Lee is the heart and brains of the defense and Smith is the leader on the offenaive line. If you didn't want the Cowboys to succeed and could take away amy three players it would be those three guys.

If I truly wanted to hurt the Eagles then I would take out a reciever like Jeffrey, a DT like Cox and a CB like Robinson. I doubt then that they would be 8-1.

Pretty sure the Eagles are just trolling the Cowboys at this point.

"Eagles signing former Giants veteran OT Will Beatty to a one-year contract, per @mortreport and me. Beatty figures into Eagles plans as season goes."

Also signed MLB Ellerbe yesterday.

Sproles is still a stud and can do so many things including punt returns. Peters is right there neck and neck with Tyron as well.

What I find funny is Pederson and JG are similar. Both longtime backup QB's. Then QB coaches and neither had called plays until they became HC's. Yet one had years of experience and a great teacher. The other given something before earning anything.
Garrett called plays during all of the Wade Phillips years...

It sure seems that way.

But our inactive front office is not that hard to dance circles around.

Peters and Sproles are for sure and Hicks was the Cowboy Killer so go watch The Voice or something huh?
Peters and Sproles were a few years ago but not in 2016.

Zeke, Lee and Tyron were All-Pro in 2016.

Peters was still playing every bit as well as Tyron Smith. He was a Pro Bowl player again last year. That's ones I see a wash outside of age and the future. I think Hicks is at least Sean Lees's physical equal. The difference is the Eagles defense isn't a one-man band.

And Sproles should have been a big loss, given his versatility. Not in the same universe as Elliott overall, but a quality contributor in a number of areas. He was lost early and they haven't missed a beat. Unlike Dallas, they're not totally reliant on one running back.

Zeke is the engine of the Cowboy offense, Lee is the heart and brains of the defense and Smith is the leader on the offenaive line. If you didn't want the Cowboys to succeed and could take away amy three players it would be those three guys.

I won't dispute that claim. Other than mentioning both quarterbacks.

If I truly wanted to hurt the Eagles then I would take out a reciever like Jeffrey, a DT like Cox and a CB like Robinson. I doubt then that they would be 8-1.

I guarantee you they wouldn't be 5-4 with the wheels falling off.

They've also had considerable losses in personnel but have managed to handle it much better than the Cowboys have.

It supports my contention that this team is totally player reliant to make up for mediocre schemes and coaching. If our guy isn't markedly better than your guy? We aren't winning the matchup. Because we're surely not going to outscheme or outcoach you.

Wait, so we are arguing about how good the players who went down are?

How about we stick to what is important?

How bad our replacements are versus theirs. Chaz Green, our RBs and Jaylon Smith versus Vaitai, Ajayi and Joe Walker/now Ellerbe.

They have taken significantly more measures to ensure that they have a chance.

We have done little beyond crossing our fingers.

But that counts as a strategy in Dallas for our front office.

Then they haven't exactly figured out how trolling works.

We got Daniel Ross last week. That had to sting, right?

I'm just point out the facts. I'm not arguing either side at this point.

People seemed confused about who was actually All-Pro.

This. Let's not argue who lost the better players here. Peters was just as important to them as Smith is to us. Hicks was just as important to them as Lee is to us. Zeke and Sproles had different roles, so comparing them is not useful--let's just say that Zeke is more of a cog than Sproles, as we saw last game.

The Eagle coaches and GM have done an excellent job of identifying payers who could step is and at least be serviceable, NFL players. Some have surprised--their corner play has been better than expected. think Cox is important to them? What happened when Cox was out for a few games...they put in Beau Allen and they didn't lose a beat. Beau Allen, Jaylen Mills, and Joe Walker were all 7th round draft picks. Let that sink in.

The Eagles wanted to shore up their RB's, so they get Ajayi. They now sign a tackle and LB for depth. We can sit here and pretend that the Eagles are just having a magical year, but the truth is that coaching and identifying the right players as backups are just as important as any "magic" surrounding that team this year. They went 7-9 last year and made a commitment to fix things. We went 13-3 and thought what, that we didn't need competent depth in case of injury? They are not 8-1 because they are lucky, but because they seem to know what in the hell they are doing.

for the season. Just thought I would remind everyone about that. Yet we fall apart when we lose just one. It's really amazing.

But they didn't lose 4 of their top 5 players like Dallas did.
