Garrett is a good coach. And he's turned this roster into a top heavy and underperforming roster to a top heavy roster that performs and has developing youth.

People keep pointing to the overnight success stories in the NFL to discredit Garrett.... But tell me which and how many teams have won the superbowl over his tenure? How many were rags to riches in a way that's comparable to some of the praise being heaped on rams and eagles coaching staffs?

It's hard as hell to win in the NFL when you get into a one and done situation. Even if you're really good.

And the criticisms don't past muster. Oh our offenses suck and aren't original! Then we finish with another top 5 performance. Oh we abandon the run! Zeke or some other RB finishes with 20+ carries. Oh we suck at game management! Last year we won most of our one score games.

Stop with this BS. JG didn't start with the Browns. He inherited a top 5 QB, the best pass rusher, top 5 future HOF TE, and 2 promising rookies in Lee and Dez. He also inherited OScan, Hatcher, Anthony Spencer and 9th pick overall to start his HC career.

He was also given the top FA CB and what was considered the best CB draft prospect at the time.

Peters and Sproles are both out of their primes...Sproles best year wouldn’t even beat out Zeke. Hicks isn’t on Lee level or close. Peters was really good 3+ years ago.

Again it's laughable to try and compare Sproles to Zeke.

Sure you could compare Peters or any other player in past history in their prime. Fact is Peters isn't their best OL anymore and he want playing at an all pro level.

Hicks doesn't come close to having the impact that Lee has.

Sproles isn't even the lead back much less in Zeke's level. To try and compare Sproles and Zeke is laughable.

Peters use to be on Tyron level but let's be serious here he isn't the same player anymore.

Again... look at SI's All Pro team. It has Peters starting, not SMith. Peters was DOMINATING this year. DOMINATING. Thats why he made the All Pro team and Smith didnt.

Dude, thats so stupid. If you want to be objective and have a real debate... Im down. But Hicks is a star and probably got robbed of a Pro Bowl last year and was going to make it this year. He is a fantastic player that should have 2 Pro Bowls under his belt. Thats like me saying, "D. Lawrence is just a guy cause he has no All Pro invitations". Hicks is a tremendous player and sorely missed.

He isnt our best OLineman but was going to be All Pro this year. He was outplaying Smith this year. He was dominating and had atleast one person say he was all pro. No one said Smith was. No one. And Smith is a fantastic player but you said Peters was good 3 years ago. He was playing at an All Pro level this year. We just happen to have 2 excellent tackles.

Jason Peters was playing at a very high level this season. Jordan Hicks is almost a mirror image of Lee. Playmaking cover LB that's made of glass. Zeke and Sproles aren't comparable, though.

Heres the fundamental problem going on in this debate. The Eagles fans all agree T. Smith, Zeek and Lee are incredible players. But you come on here saying, "Oh, Peters isnt good anymore, maybe 3 years ago" or "Jordan Hicks is just a guy" or "Losing your ST captain doesnt mean anything, who cares", "Darren Sproles isnt worth crap anymore". It seems like the Eagles fans are acknowledging how fantastic the 3 players you lost are... but you're saying, "Oh, all those Eagles guys arent even any good and that silly.
And the next point is losing Peters FOR THE YEAR, losing Hicks FOR THE YEAR, losing Sproles FOR THE YEAR, losing Maragos FOR THE YEAR, losing Darby for 10 GAMES is a hell of a lot different than losing Smith for a game and Lee for 2 or 3 games. Major freaking difference in objective peoples books.
