I'm not one to pretend to know all these guys but I will say from watching the highlight videos, it looks like another DeMarco Murray we got here. I swear i'm watching our guy run. Love it.

Wes Bunting's scouting report on Randle:

STRENGTHS - His combination of size and speed are rare. He has an explosive step to allow him to burst through holes and get to the second level in a hurry to pick up big chunks of yards. He has the strength to break through arm tackles and then once in the open field he can run away from defenders. He shows a short lateral step to avoid tackles and immediately get up field. As a receiver he can be as equally dangerous and is a mismatch to all linebackers in the passing game.

Finally got good value.

If it's the 2014 draft and he stays a year? Maybe but he's probably projected 6th or 7th round this year.

He lacks great speed or great cutting ability but he's a solid overall RB who can also catch out of the backfield. I like the pick.

BUT... how the hell have we only drafted ONE OL/DL player??

Perhaps we didn't like the ones available? There will likely be guys with later round grades that are UDFA pickups.

He's not that fast, not flashy, won't make a bunch of 70 yard runs.

And I don't think he's your traditional I-tailback where you give him the ball 8 yards deep and plow ahead. He's more of a spread-look kind of back. But that's what we do anyway.

Well, we've got a small, speedy change-of-pace guy in Lance Dunbar, so I think Dallas was looking more for a move-the-chains guy who can catch passes out of the backfield and pass protect.

Considering our lack of success with last-day offensive linemen, I'm not upset we didn't draft one.

We'll probably be searching among the UDFAs for another Costa or Leary type.

As far as the DL goes, we'll probably have as good a shot of finding contributors among the UDFAs as drafting one.

Ratliff and Lissemore were a step away from being UDFAs and Bowen came from those ranks.

Like the pick but I sure hope we bring in more Oline help so he will have some holes to run through. If not, he better be the second coming of Barry Sanders.

I saw a few games this year and thought he was a good back. He's got enough speed to play. Not a lot of missem if I remember correctly.

Nice and shifty, looks to be good at shedding tackles, but the thing I like best from what I see is that he doesn't let anybody get a clean shot at him and hes smart about going down when hes really wrapped up.

That should help keep him from making too many mistakes or getting too dinged up.

Oh lawd.

Watch his game vs. Texas.

To be fair, everyone ran well against Texas last year.

He looks like a solid player. Don't see a lot of upside but he looks like he can play.
