The Steelers made the smart decision. Dallas did not.

It’s irrelevant to me. You have more than enough pixies to fix this defense you have two firsts and a second next year. Steelers got robbed. It wasn’t smart. They trade for DK who’s worse than Pickens just to ship him out for a 3rd it was a stupid trade. It could also be stupid for the Cowboys but worse case they get a 3 round comp pick for him. I don’t see the risk.

Yeah, after seeing what happened with Micah, GP is not going to sit silent for a month while Jerry drags him through the mud. He’ll won’t take all of the slights and whispered media leaks without speaking his mind.

Then, all those who salute Jerry will say “i told you so!”

I'm not sure....Micah's negotiation went south coz Jerry simply screwed it up. Remember, Micah even waited a year so they could get Dak and Lamb done. Jerry got cold feet and IMO intentionally sabotaged the nego by directly engaging Micah and using it against him. Looking back, I think Jerry had already decided he wanted Micah to play at least one year on the tag but knew there was no way of that happening w/o a major distraction.

Just me, but I don't see Pickens's nego coming anywhere close to what happened with Micah. For one, I don't think Jerry has any problem paying him as long as he is asking for Lamb money. Yes, I can see Jerry giving him what he wants within reason. Keep in mind, Dak wants him to stay and Dak generally gets what he wants (lol).
