Fuzzy, I didn't find Bill to be anymore evasive than usual.

He just didn't sound overly worried.

Like he thinks LA will pass the run soon.

That was my impression as well...and add to the fact, Big Larry is a seasoned vet, he really don't need as much team practice as say, a rookie. Now, if a rookie came in and did not pass the test...that would be a whole different matter!

So what if Allen cannot run all those sprints...that's a huge man, and he's not going to be running around that much in a game, and the Coach knows that.

Small bursts of strenght...that's where Larry excels...

I think they have a considerable range, MKyle, from the kind used in middle school girls' gym classes (maybe three pounds), to about 25 pounds.

Well, he's also a little older...but, that dude is freaking HUGE!

Now, keep in mind, these vets know a little about how to handle a training camp! Perhaps Big Larry knew what would happen if he did not pass that run test? Maybe he knew that, "well, if I don't pass this run test, no big deal...Coach will make me sit out of pad practice for a few days, so I can play with my ball"!

The vets are smart....and Big Larry will be totally alright. Look at the dude! Damn, Sam!! :

Larry Allen isn't your typical player, the guy is a freak of nature in his own right. The fact that he's supposedly in the best shape he's ever been in a long time speaks volumes.

Larry Allen would tear that hippo a new azz! That hippo would wish he was never born! That hippo would go crying to the rest of the jungle anamals that he just got whipped! That hippo's mom and dad would move to another part of the jungle, while all the monkeys laugh at their arse!

That hippo ain't go nothing on Big Larry...and after Big Larry got through with that hippo...he would feed it to...yup...you got it...Andy Ried! That hippo would just be nothing more then a snack to Andy! :laugh2:
